hey people, its been a while since i last posted a new thread... I'm sure alot of swimmers were wondering if i drowned but actually swim is still a float.

Anyway on to the topic at hand, Swim has recieved a bottle of promethazine and codeine from a doctor for his cough... swim has used it before a few times. On to the question, swim wants to create a nice recipe for sizzurp and though there are topics on both sizzurp mix and dxm synergy with codeine swim wants to get it all into one compact answer.

Swim is thinkin maybe for a nice experiance
1 oz prometh/codeine
1 oz tussin
1 oz vodka

mixed with some ice tea and sipped slowly....

now although alone 1 oz of both kinds of syrup are not dangerious together they might be? has any of swiys tried mixing syrups with good results?

SWIM would wonder about the potential synergy between the promethazine and DXM with this combo. About how many mg of DXM would SWIYou be ingesting? SWIM is guessing around 90 mg, combined with an antihistamine that could put SWIY in a sleepy/delerious state, but probably not enough to trip out on. With codeine in the mix too, SWIM would wonder if SWIY wouldn't just go to sleep. SWIM would also avoid the vodka in this combo, based on past experience, DXM-containing cough syrups and alcohol do not mix. Not something SWIM would want to repeat unless he had a real need to vomit for several hours.

solid advice, ye swim should said about 30-60mg of dxm combined with X oz of syrup and a shot or 2.... not a 1:1 ratio of dxm : to syrup

Post a report on how it worked out for SWIY, SWIM would still not want to concoct such a beverage for himself. Mostly because the alcohol and DXM combination would cause vomiting for some, including SWIM. However, SWIM is still interested in hearing a report if SWIY tried this yet.

Drank is a houston epidemic anybody whos anybody in houston sips on syrup.

I use to live in Houston and the sub culture of sipn this "drank" as it is called is huge. In all of the drug community in houston the drank is probally as acceptable as pot. Even people who normally refrain from use do not consider it a problem.

This is mainly due to DJ Screw a huge figure in the houston rap scence creating screwd and chopped music. As it become referd to.

I know many monkeys who live in ccs, Venezuela who are able to buy (completely over the counter) 120 ml cough syrups with the following composition for every 5 ml: 6.25mg of promethazine, 10 mg of codein and 301.125 mg of alcohol.
Every unit costs around 4 U.S$. That may seem cheap to those who earn in powerful currencies but it is not considered a cheap drug here.
The methods of ingestion are similar to those in Houston although probably not as prevalent: it is usually taken straight up; people have even taken on a taste for it this way.
As for the culture around it, there tends to be none or very little since it is mostly a lethargic and bored bunch who take the drug. It also rather inclines toward social disintegration because it can make things one normally finds annoying, completely intolerable (mood swings). Although I do know of some cases where it is used as an aid in studying.
