Fentanyl Citrate Amps

Hey guys, SWIM hasnt been here in over a few months, but is back.

He was wondering if anyone had any experience with the injectable Fentanyl Citrate Amps, 100mcg/2mL amps.

The strengths of the Duragesic Fentanyl Patches are 12.5ug (1.25mg), 25ug 2.5mg), 50ug (5mg), 75ug (7.5mg), and 100ug (10mg). Now these are the total amount of Fentanyl in the patch. When its actually worn, its only a fraction of that total amount distributed consistently every hour for 72 hours.

To get a better picture, 1000mcg (micrograms) = 1mg

So one of these vials has 100mcg in it, which would be .1 mg

SWIM had a few of the 12.5ug (1.25mg) patches, and he would get a very good buzz from puttin the gel from a whole patch in his mouth.

Now SWIM bets when IVed, a little would be quite intense, but would 100mcg really be worth it to a non newbie opiate user?

One vial would be kinda around 1/10 of the 12ug (1.25mg) patch. And thats even talking about the lowest strenght patch there is. Now SWIM would just say its not worth it, but he has never had the amps before. For what its worth, SWIM suspects the effect would be very short, but quite amazing for the time it lasted, in his opinion...
