recently aquired an Arterial Blood Sampling Kit with Dry Lithium Heparin. On the side it says contains Heparin Do Not Inject, but SWIM was wondering if the Heparin could we washed out. Looking it up on Wiki, SWIM found that: "Heparin
is a highly sulfated glycosaminoglycan widely used as an injectable anticoagulant. It is also used to form an inner anticoagulant surface on various experimental and medical devices such as test tubes and renal dialysis machines. Pharmaceutical grade heparin is commonly derived from mucual tissues of slaughtered meat animals such as porcine intestine or bovine lung." - wikipedia
SWIM was wondering if he can use this after it's been washed out. In the package the plunger's already pulled back about 2 units, and SWIM didn't know if that was where the Heparin was or not.
SWIM would appreciate ANY answers. Thanks.
