Combinations - First time kratom purchase/use, on 2-ct-2

Well, Swim has decided to try kratom, he's read quite a bit about it, and it seems very enjoyable, he was thinking of doing it at he was thinking of offering it up as entertainment to a few of his close friends at a birthday celebration for one of SWIM's friends, who I, of course, have never even met. The involved people are very experianced in altered states of conciousness, and the plan for the party had already been to rent a hottub, and have anyone interested try a dose of 2-ct-2. SWIM was thinking that makeing some tea, at 1 gram per cup of kratom, and taking 2 cups, waiting 30 minutes, and then takeing one more gram, as needed, every 30 minutes, to get a nice relaxing "melt into the hottub" kind of trip.

Now, the only thing that worries SWIM, is that he hasnt done either of these substances, but the 2-ct-2 would be dosed out at 20mg, and should be quite safe at that dose range, nothing to realy worry about, as all participants have explored many common, and not so common, psychoactive substances before. And dosing the kraton at 2g should be fairly safe too, SWIM is kinda woried it may be too low, depending on the quality of leaf he gets.

SWIM has found the kratom from a retailer that has been very reliable in the past, quality wise, who is, like him, in the great white north,SWIM's options for leaf are as follows, he was hopeing someone here had tried a few of these and could help him out as to selection and dosing:

Also, if anyone with experiance with kratom has tried the 2-ct-2, or some other psychedelic, with kratom, I'd like to hear your experiance, or warnings, as, to me, it sounds like it would be blissfull, SWIM thinks so too...

10 grams powdered in applesauce outta do ya if it's leaf.As far as w/2-ct-2,I think you'd be safe.SWIM used with 40mg of amphetamine w/no problems,mushrooms,DMT and acid as well.Have fun!!!

SWIM has seen such varied dosage on this stuff, that he thinks he will make sure to order ahead of time, and try out the quality first, probly start at 5g on it's own for the first attempt. Is the price differance in the different leaf grades worth it in SWIY's experiance? Will the good stuff be cheaper per actual dose, or is the best priced leaf gonna be cheaper in the long run?

It depends,but swim's favorite leaf is the red-veined Thai.It's a bit more pricey but worth it(to swim). It's not that drastic of a dollar difference that it bothers swim.

I'm happy to see smaller doses being considered. SWIM's wife, who makes sure not to use kratom more than 1-2 times per week, consistently gets strong effects from tea made from 5-6 grams of "crushed leaf" kratom, be it Bali or Thai.

As for combining with 2C-T-2...SWIM often worries about combining kratom with other drugs which produce stimulating bodyloads (such as 2C-T-2 is reported to produce), but on the other hand has noticed favorable results when combining it with stimulants such as MDMA or methylone - it helped with the comedown of these drugs.

Regarding SWIYs specific question: I would never recommend that someone first try a drug while under the influence of another. Polypharmacology is a dangerous game. Maybe not with kratom and 2C-T-2, but it's a bad habit. Find out how SWIY responds to both drugs before combining them.

Very sage advice. Swim can personally attest to polysubstance abuse without prior experience with the substances combined being a terrible idea. He is much wiser and more careful now.

Mixing substances can be dangerous and risky sometimes, but mixing substances that haven't been used before on their own is just asking for it.

Thanks to all the help guys, SWIM is usualy quite carefull about such things, and for various reasons, has changed his plans, he ordered the 2-ct-2 last night, should get it today or tomorow, will be testing this weekend, should have the kratom some time next week, but SWIM is lacking in funds atm, and hopes he can get it here at least 2 days before the party, as he will be testing it before distributing to friends. The only reason SWIM was considering it was the low doses, probable effects, and the people involved(people involved have changed, SWIM is getting more paranoid)
SWIM is now considering a kratom tea for the "normal" guests, with the 2-ct-2 for the people he has tripped with before(SWIM is warry of feeding ANY psychedelic to people now, as he has had a few people freak out, which is no fun to deal with... at all...)
SWIM is still unclear about the types of leaf however, and isnt sure if he should go for the cheapest leaf, or the most expensive, as sometimes price isnt relative to quality... thinking of going for the most expensive, as he is only looking for a few experiences, and would like them to be the best possible experiences.
