Swim has never read anything that suggested combining anti-depressants and x is dangerous, but she has read that the effects of the x are deminished by certain anti-depressants (she doesn't remember specifically which kind). One of her friend's who was on anti-depressants also had a much less fun time than swim who is not on anything, so maybe swiu just won't feel it quite as much, but swiu could look more into that specific anti-depressant to find out more.

Mixing any 2 or more substances that raise serotonin is potentially risky - please run a search on Serotonin Syndrome, here or on the web; there a couple of good articles in the File Archive Pharmacologysection. Although Venlafaxine primarily has an effect on Noradrenaline, it also has an effect on Serotonin at higher doses, so any stimulant use on this already highly stimulating med is not advised.

SWIM is on effexor xr, depakote er, and abilify and recently SWIM dropped 2 pink dolphins which had no effect on SWIM at all.. while 4 others were having a great time off of just one roll

The reason these drugs block the effect of MDMA is because they block the re-uptake pump, preventing MDMA from being transported into the presynaptic vesicle where it works its magic.

SWIM was on Seroxat many years ago, it didn’t stop him taking xtc. He mostly took much higher doses then usual. The euphoric effects were greatly diminished... more like a strange amphetamine feeling.

Not that I'd recommend any indulgence of this sort

any idea how long it will take before effexor is out of SWIM's system so SWIM can try them again? they are the best rolls to enter SWIM's town in 2 years.. supposedly
