Drug info - Xanax Bars (Alprazolam)

The highest Xanax the current PDR shows is a 3mg extend release the is round W/ a 3 on one side and as X on the other. So the 4mg you may be getting must be coming from outside the U.S. or you my me a little confused on the mg or type so be careful don't buy bunk. Of course I'm no pharmacist. Latter!!!

A friend of mine gave me a small, round blue tablet that he said was xanax. Could this be the infamous new wafer?



The feeling was much like xanax. I took one on a full stomach
with a vodka tonic. 1 hour later I melted into the chair I was
sitting in. It felt like a 2mg bar, but I had never seen one
before. The only imprint on it that I can remember, was a symbol
similar to the "infinity" symbol used in mathematics.

I hate to say it but that is kinda a confusing statement, after reading
it about 3 times and looking througout the post i assume your talking
about the yellow and white xanax bars? just clarifying

the first time swim took xanax was when his friend gave him a bar and
said ok. swim had never done it before but she thought swim had so she
forgot to tell me to only take half. swim almost got
suspended/expelled. but swim remembers everything. how is this possible?

Cecil you obviously don;t know what your talking about. saying you can;t snort xanax. I ask u to do an experiment and don;t eat any just snort them and you will become very high

if thats what the pill mindmachine was talking about looks like it was
only 1mg of alprazolam and it probably felt like a bar because of the
drinking.

I have been debating with someone about the difference between yellow
and white xanax bars. I know the white ones are 2mg and I thought
the yellow were 1mg but some people have told me they are 2mg as
well. Everyone seems to claim the yellow are better also.
Are they the same just made by different companies?

The yellow ones look just like the white ones. I'm pretty

Yellow Alpazolam(Xanax) Tabs are generaic Xanax. They are 2 mg, just like the white bars, I don't find any diffrence between brand name and generaic meds.

I can say also that they come generic white and yellow,and all bar shaped xanax is 2mg. Also be careful, there are a lot of other bar shaped pills that people will often mistake for xanax.

Yeah zolof comes in blue bars the same size as the xanax

theres a big difference IMO. the best xanax are made by pfizer, then greenstone, lily and geneva, in that order. they all work. genevas seem to have a totally different feel about them. dont know if its sloppy synthesis or what.

SWIM has taken bars probably about a dozen times and it sort of off of them now. SWIM realizes they're fun while you're on them but the next day he is so disoriented and can't remember anything. The question is: Why is Xanax manufactured at such a high dose? I can't see how anyone could take that much Xanax and still be able to function. Do regular users of the drug build up a tolerance fast and need a dose that large to feel an effect?

First off, bars are split into four 1/2mg pieces so that any typical dose can be taken. They can cost much less per mg than .5mg or 1mg tablets for people for whom the insurance company is not picking up the bill. And secondly, yes - some people with a legitimate need for benzodiazepenes take very high doses (under a doctor's direction) as their condition and tolerance require.

none except the yellow are either generics or imports, swim forgets which. but potency-wise both the white and yellow bars are 2 mg, and are both as effective.
