Can any of the other SWIMmers here at the rec center pool tell SWIM how 4-HO-MIPT reacts with marquis?

Re: 4-HO-MIPT/Marquis reaction
Alright, if one wants something done......
SWIM told me one would see a slowly developing brownish-olive green. And being the suggestible sort, that's exactly what one saw. |

Re: 4-HO-MIPT/Marquis reaction
Pretty much all tryptamines turn olive or some other vague color with Marquis. It's not a very useful test for them. As to which regeants might be useful - not sure...ask a chemist! Erlich's reagent is what is used in the field to identify LSD.
