1/8inch glass bong (homeade)

Hello. Swim recently started working on a homemade, glass, bong project using a glass vodka bottle that is roughly 18 inches tall. Looks like this

He drilled the hole for a bowl a few inches above with a 1/4 inch drill bit. Question is, what will work as a slide... SWIM would prefer to use a glass slide if it is possible. thanks
