MDPV and alcohol ?

Ok, this is a potentially malignant question when dealing with little researched RC's, but what do SWIM's peers have to say on the mixture of low doses of MDPV and alcohol ( moderate to high social drinking, a few beers or glasses of wine, a couple of hard drinks ?
is it a no no, have people tried this and experienced adverse side effects ?
SWIM enjoys the low doses stimulant / alcohol mixture in general, and was wondering...

Re: MDPV and alcohol ?

swib knows people who have done this. The MDPV made them want to drink much, as do all stimulants with these people. Side effects did not seem any different than a normal hangover from drinking. but they did say they would rather have one or the other as they normally do not like drinkin on stimuilats

Re: MDPV and alcohol ?

A crazy munkey knows some people who mixed alcohol with 5-meo-amt and got really sick off of it. So a crazy munkey thinks that it wouldn't be such a good idea.

Re: MDPV and alcohol ?

SWIM recently used quite an amount of MDPV after tripping on 2-CE. When SWIM was high on the MDPV he drank around four beers, this was a nice combination for SWIM. I have no idea if other people liked or disliked this combination.

Re: MDPV and alcohol ?

SWIM has regretfully turned to alcohol many times to sleep after MDPV. No effects other than those of alcohol alone, though it takes away from the MDPV when it is at peak effects and is better reserved for the comedown.

Of course, I've seen it done in front of my very eyes! Enters party a very drunk, quick visit to the toilet; 20 minutes later, it's a case of who is this smooth James Mason voiced lounge lizard! "Hey, your mate Bri cant half turn the charm on" whines this envious voice. "I know his secret" I casually anonunce to the two who previously had been in such awe and vanish into the most accomodating bathroom.

I have been there, seen it and bought the scabby teeshirt. I don't drink, but I know plenty of people who do and this is the 'grim up north' bit of England where beer is the mark of a man!

Another happy day on this septic isle...

Re: MDPV and alcohol ?

funny, this one dude says, MDPV obviated any desire to drink alcohol...and the hepatocytes are thankful...it just seemed llike a distraction from the exemplary clearheaded streamlined get shit done state of mind.

Re: MDPV and alcohol ?

Quoted material to follow was relayed to me via several anonymous sources:
"I have taken 22mg MDPV 7hours ago and am just now starting to get a little less focused. I consumed 6 12oz. beers and 2 24oz. beers during the course of the evening. I find that the alcohol flows more smoothly, and I drink it less compulsively whilst under the influence of this MDPV. Normally, those 8 beers would be finished within 3 hours, not the 7 hours it took tonight. But no real difference in effect for either compound. The etOH just sedates, and the MDPV just stimulates. And as with most stimulants, much more pronounced diuretic effect as compared to either substance alone.

"It's later the next day, and I need to add this: I was, it turns out, no where near the end of the experience when I stated that I was becoming less focused. I could not get to sleep at all until 11 hours later (06:30h), and then it was a very fitful sleep at that. This coumpound is quite fascinating to me. It has a very potent stimulant action to it. It has, for me, a potent aphrodisiac effect as well. That being said, I have to agree that there isn't really a euphoria with this material like there would be with an equivalent 'buzz' of the amphetamines. I mean, there is a 'feel good' with it, but it's more secondary to the compound's effects. In other words, the heightened awareness and productivity generates the 'good feelings', not the chemical all by itself, as is the case with amphetamines (in my experience). I think the alcohol does take the 'edge' off of the experience, but it also brings its own baggage (the alcohol, that is) like dry mouth, headache, etc... I make a point of hydrating myself, after the beer is gone, with fruit juices and water to prevent any complications due to dehydration."

Re: MDPV and alcohol ?

MDPV seems to make SWIM impervious to alcohol, also, the compulsion to drink (in large quantities) is very great. Same with SWIM's mates -- some guy usually not keen on beer enjoyed it (taste and all), and felt compelled to get rat-arsed

Re: MDPV and alcohol ?

SWIM has witnessed many monkeys enjoying both in excessive amounts, and has not noticed any real negative effects from that. Of course this is not even near a qualified conclusion, but the period of witnessing was rather long. SWIM himself has noticed that alcohol increases the dryness of mouth dramatically with MDPV.

Re: MDPV and alcohol ?

SWIM had tried it like three times. SWIM haven't had any problems with alco + mdpv.
Today SWIM is going to try ~10mg MDPV orally + eight to ten 33cl beers and some cannabis. SWIM should just have to remember to drink some water..

Re: MDPV and alcohol ?

My housecat found the MDPV and alcohol did not go well together.

The kitty had 6mg MDPV during the day, and only drank one glass of wine and felt * blecch * ... did not feel "right", if that can be a description.

Other cats may respond differently.

Re: MDPV and alcohol ?

swim drank a few glasses of red wine once with PV and then never again after that. It made him very sick and nauseous all night with pains in his stomach. Swimys does'nt drink atall really anyway, so it would make him feel kind of sick anyway, but there was definaltey a bad combination

Re: MDPV and alcohol ?

SWIM has took MDPV and alcohol now two times after my post before. F.e Swim took 12-16mg mdpv orally + 0,7g spice gold + ~10 beers and SWIM felt just fine. And sleeping was also really easy.
