Drug info - LSD gel-tabs (Windowpane)

SWIM brought some of these back from "A festival he went to". Have you guys seen these? Is there any info that anyone could tell SWIM about these? From what was said, they are supposed to be "really great", “the best ever", etc... but that is what is always said. There was not a whole bunch available for this picture so the actual dosage was something that SWIM wanted to know more about. SWIM said that the texture looks like gel, but is kind of hard. SWIM knows that it is basically impossible to tell that much from a picture, but SWIM just thought that the knowledgeable people who post on this forum might have something to say, or at the very least, enjoy looking at the picture.

also, SWIM wanted to know if it is possible/probable that the light from the scanner can be damaging?

gels re generally known to be very potent but one cannot say on the basis of a picture. consider that when dealing with any form of LSD other than paper you run an even higher chance of getting something else... think how easy it would be to put some RC in a tab and sell it as acid... it happens all the time. also to answer your question about light exposure... exposure to sunlight can cause damage to the double bond between the 8 position and the aromatic ring to form an uninspiring compound called lumi-LSD which is without any psychoacctive properties in the human animal.

SWIM brought some back from "the not to be mentioned festival" the gels are good, SWIM wouldnt say their the best ever by far. SWIM heard from the guy that supplied it, supposed fluff remake from the love family.SWIM would take two though .

Swim got some of these at "the not to be named festival". Took 1/2 + Molly at MMJ show, and all I can say is that it was the most beautiful experience of Swim's life! Indescribable! Jim James, you are my hero!

Swim may take two tomorrow and will report back. Swim is not experienced with LSD, but will try to assess quality when he takes more.

Pheww... what a night.

Swim droped 3 of those gel tabs pictured above and had quite an experience. This was swim's first real acid trip, and it was wonderful! Jim can't compare these to other tabs, but if Tim had to make a wild guess based on reading other LSD experiences, Zim would say these tabs are around 80-100mcg of LSD each. Good, clean stuff though

Swim was told that the majority of the LSD at "this particular festival" was needlepoint.. There was liquid, which was LSD dissolved in water, almost no taste, unless you are sensitive to those things(heavy LSD users), there were freshly laid blotter(perfed with pic on one side), that were still damp, and there were the gels, almost a tad of orange to em, so they were not quite clear.. This was all the same LSD crystal, just different forms, and it was all properly dosed(1 gram=10 tenpacks=100 sheets=10,000 single hits). Swim ate 15 hits at the Phil Lesh and Friends show, and had one of the most amazing trips.. He got to go over the edge, but stay cool enough to be conscious of his surroundings.. Wonderful, clean experience, although the ride up was kind of rough for him, as he had some things to think over going into such a powerful experience.. Hooray for good LSD!!

i hate to say but SWIM took 2, and thought it was weak...very minimal body rushes and visuals.....SWIM's mind was normal for the most part,which is odd because last time SWIM was fried and a 1 1/2 hr onset..... :/

and SWIM am an experianced user, probably at least 4 times b 4 this with LSD..

tasted bad too, probably cuz it was gel, (which ive never had b 4....)

Swim has changed his mind too ... they probably weren't near 100mcg. But the fact that Swim had visuals from a 1/2 tab tells him that it must be at least 50 mcg each. Three tabs was a great experience, but not totally out of control. Swim's new guess is 50-75mcg each. It's possible that the same tabs have different amounts of degradation, so maybe yours weren't stored well somewhere along the line.

SWIM took a dose identical to the dose depicted in the image above, divided by two. He and his girlfriend were concerned about the small amount, but they found out that that was really not a problem at all. They said that they felt the trip full on. As experienced trippers, they were reminded that the trip does not directly correspond to the dosage taken. And since all the guesses on the amount of compound present are arbitrary, they would like to pass on the information that the small amount was absolutely enough to get them to the desired state of consciousness. They were very pleased with the experience.

According to SWIM, there was a slight “sweet-ish” flavor to the square but it was not overwhelming. About 30 minutes after they had ingested it, they said that they could feel that familiar feeling of “something is different” and after about 1 hour they knew that they were in for one heck of a night. They wanted to mention that the planning, preparing, and meditating before the trip might have had positive impact on the experience (since there was no control, this is just offered as is). They said that they could feel it for 10+ hours and were unable to fall asleep for about 14 hours after take off. There times of great intensity and times of serene calmness, like waves, as usually tends to occur. SWIM would rate this experience as 8.5 – 9 out of 10. That is a very good rating.

[Herbal Remedy]

SwiHR ran into some of these over the weekend. He got 10 for free (hooray for free) and he and his friends planned to trip at a phil lesh show/keller williams/string cheese show. Before he dropped his, swiHR ran into a character with some liquid and he got a drop on a sweet tart to save for the show. This guy had some Hoffman liquid back at his site but it wasnt really close so swihr got a taste of his other stash (which was cheaper that hoffman) and the dude even wiped the bottle on swihr and pointed to his "family" badge before bidding farewell for the show (gotta love the dead crowd).

At the show SwiHr ate his sweet tart first and his friends each took two gels. SwiHR started tripping first (and what seemed like the hardest) but his friends kicked in soon after. SwiHR had good visuals as soon as phil's set started (about 25-30 minutes after eating the sweet tart) and got stronger till about 45 minutes later. SwiHR's friends didnt seem to have strong visuals from the gels. SwiHr's girl gave him a gel or two (or 3 or 4 haha) during the show, but honeslty, all it seemed to do was add to the difficulty of conversation, and add to the wierdness/ akwardness. The gels definatly did something, but only prolonged - didnt increase the quality of the trip. This may be because the gels were taken at least 1 1/2 hours into the trip, and not at the same time, but SWiHR was fine with just the sweet tart...

SwiHR must say that this was a wonderful show and beautiful trip, absolutly loved the night. The environment of the dead shows is so great, everybuddy is so happy and peaceful and celebrating, and sooo much dancing haha, i love it. SWiHR wishes he coulda gotten more liquid, or especially some of the Hoffman's, but he was very appreciative of the liquid he did get (as well as the free 10 strip!)...

SwiHR still has 6 left and might take most (if not all of them) sometime later this week and give them another chance, cuz these gels seem to be everywhere.

Swim just purchased a hit of acid from someone he recently met. Swim was expecting some sort of blotter, instead he got what the guy called "windowpane" I guess. It's more or less a peice of plastic, and swim thinks he got ripped off, but swim doesn't know anything about acid having never done it. Any help? Here is a rather shitty picture:

Swim had some hits exactly like that. They worked quite well, despite not dissolving under the tongue so effectively.

Yeah after some more research I found that those types of hits are somewhat common, plus the guy swim got them from is a well trusted source around here.

Is the standard way to take acid to let it dissolve under the tounge? Should swim do that for these gel plastic things? It'll be swims first time with acid, previously he's had mescaline and dmt though.

Windowpane is simply acid that is carried in a gelatine based medium rather than soaked into blotter. It first appeared in 1971, and was apparently quite readily available until the end of the seventies.

SWIJ has only seen windowpane once (mind you: She is in the UK)

Well, swim is going to try it tomorrow night and wants to know how long he should wait until consuming alcohol if it turns out to be bunk. Like what's the longest lasting onset for a possible RC? Swim will be trying this acid while all his friends get drunk so he doesn't want to be sober all night if this turns out to be bunk =/ and again, does swim leave it under his tounge, swallow it, what?

SWIM hears that the clear geltabs are definitely BOMB right now. (SWIM says they can have a very slight amber tint to them yet are close to clear)...

You most likely didn't get ripped off. Chances are that you will be very happy.

at XXX fest this year. "GELS" were everywhere. SWIN tried them and looked to be having a very good time. just do not drop the gels. swin dropped ( on the ground ) 4 gells and they dissapered instantaly.

swim says its prolly safe to say they are the same that were at XXX
