Opinions - most euphoric benzodiazepine ?

SWIM has tried Alprazolam, Chlordiazepoxide, Clonazepam, Clorazepate, Diazepam, Flurazepam, Lorazepam, Oxazepam, Temazepam, and Triazolam. He has also tried the Atypical benzodiazepine receptor ligand Zolipidem, the barbiturates Phenobarbital and Butalbital, and one of the post-barbiturate/ pre-benzodiazepine tranquilizers, Meprobromate. In his opinion, the most euphoric of this assortment was the hypnotic benzodiazepines, Triazolam in particular. Because of their often shorter duration of action, this catergory provides a harder hitting high. In other words, it gets you good and sloppy in a hurry but with a minimal hangover in contrast to how totally fucked up it gets you. One significant exception to SWIM's preference for hypnotics was the anti-convulsant benzodiazepine Clonazepam. SWIM found it to be quite euphoric, almost like a 'fuzzy' barbiturate. Because of its relative ease of availability and long duration of action, this is definetly SWIM's drug of choice for inducing his bi-annual 2 week blackout, a position formerly held by phenobarbital.

SWIM used to take lorazepam in conjunction with Ritalin. It really smoothed out the Ritz and oh yes, amplified the euphoria.

Sorry but swim is an opiate lover, and the only time he'll take benzo's is if he has opiates to do also, because when he takes benzo's w/o his opiates they actually make him pill-sick for his opiates!! Yeah yeah, he knows, this goes against all recovery "experts" opinion, whose stand is, "benzo's help ease withdraw symptons." But not for him, benzo's intensify the wd's!
But anyhow, back to the topic, sorry for the rant. The only benzo that HAS actually gave the tiniest bit of euphoria was xanax, and the euphoria was limited to about half an hour.
