Hallucinations on Meth?

So, I'm here to tell you SWIM's newest experience with lady meth, and that experience is STILL lasting SWIM told me.

So, two days ago, SWIM and two friends go out and get some meth and hash.
SWIM is a one to two times in a month user, the other friend a daily user, the third one somewhere inbetween.

ok, so SWIM and his friends get some really good stuff (SWIM thinks a 8/10 of all meths SWIM had in his life), and the meth party starts. everythings cool and ok for 1.5 days, but then SWIM totally freaks out on homeway, as he is carrieng meth in his pocket home because there are 0.12 grams left of his portion and he never took it home, and starts to think oh this is an undercover cop, oh there, the shadow... yeah thats nothing special, the meth paranoia.

SWIM gets home on sunday after being away for two days, and by the time (2-3 hours) really fears that cops would come to his home and look everything through and find the meth he has. oh, and SWIM never consumed so much meth in such a short time ever before. Dont even know the actual amount.

ok, so on sunday, about 8:00 PM, SWIM snorts a 0.10 to stay awake because he had to be awake at 7:00 AM to call in that he takes two days of holiday.

somewhat at about 22:00, SWIM completely freaks out, fears that some cop could find the meth he had ( 0.02 grams - thats almost nothing) - but throwing it away would be sacrileg, SWIM doesnt drive on meth because of heavy police controls, and he has to get this meth away. thats evertyhing he can think of. With the bus to his friend to give it to him? that would be over an hour of driving with train and bus - no option for a ATM totally not happy man with paranoic visions and hallus who moves at twice the speed of normal beings (feels like) but cannot follow his own thoughts (SWIM calls his friend, and is so irritated that he has to ask his friend what SWIM said just that second because he forgot what the whole topic was).

so, SWIM snorts the mini line at 23:00
and between approx. 2:00 to sunrise at 8:00 he was in living hell. SWIM had crushed a piece of hash with razorblade before for four consecutive hours and he also smoked some pot to come down a bit - made everything worse.

SWIM is in a hell of his own mind, i won't write down everything, but SWIM remembers, that he had a flower, that piece of hash (the finest powder SWIM has ever seen - after beating it 4 hours long) on the flyer, sitting in his bathroom with three cups of water for having the option to destroy the hash by drinking it with the one cup, if that doesnt work, he could wash is away with the other cup oder he could put it on the earth of the flower und making it wet so no one could find it.

no one? yeah, SWIM sat in his bathroom in the shower, every light was out and he breathed slowly so the cops couldnt hear him. cops? yeah, SWIM HEARS them - not he thinks he hears them, he really hears them talking. he sees shadows of them coming in the room - not some flubberish thing you see as you walk by - that were real shadows.

SWIM was in such awe, and he never felt such an intense fear in his whole life. everything was dark and hazardous, his senses are so raised he hears people talking normally loud on the street - the window was two rooms away and the bathroom was locked. SWIM is sure that were real people talking.

then, SWIM sees that he is looking at the wall for half an hour now, up, with open mouth and doing some kind of "zoooom" sound. he gets up and starts to hack coffee like meth with the reazorblade for 2 hours, changing his place every 5 minutes from balcony (to see the police coming!) to the bathroom (to eliminate the other drugs) to the kitchen because there he can switch on the light because his kitchen has no windows - police is waiting out there, just waiting that you give them a sign of life like a lamp, then they'll get you.

normally, SWIM knows the meth paranoia - its pretty hard but you know its the meth. in this case, SWIM didnt thought that just for fun - SWIM lived so these hours. also flashes of light everywhere (from the police cars), turning the PC off because a silent PC (normally not hearable) puts up pain on his ears.

now, its monday 8:00 PM and SWIM smoked two bongs but didnt help him (made it worse), and SWIM couldt believe that he destroyed the GLASS bong because he saw something electronical in the chillum which could be used to hear what he says. that was at 4 PM. then, SWIM started to build bongs - he built 5 bongs off just about everything he found just to kill all the visions of police and drugs. even now, living in a really high building, he feels like being on street level, sees every car light on the windows, hears police men coming up the stairs (not "did i hear that?", he really hears it in his ear), even knowning that this is total BS as he never had drug trouble with police, so they cant just come here and search for drugs in his home.

every 10 minutes or so, when the elevator stops on his stage because someone gets in or out, he must run to the spy and look if its police. he knows thats silly, but its such a pain not to look.

and SWIM would appreciate any idea helping him out of that dual world so he can go to bed and sleep. pot didnt work.SWIM doestn smoke and has no other drugs in the house. and SWIM feels like if he vomits instantly if he only thinks about food.

but SWIM also would like to hear if you know similar stories (remember, SWIM ist right now in it....its getting better but not very fast :/ ), or if you ever experienced such strong hallucinogetic effects far beyond the usual meth paranoia, knowing that all that fear is so silly but he cant do anything about it.

was it too much meth for SWIM maybe? or was it the pot? SWIM must prevent such situations, because SWIM is atm wrecked if he doesnt focus with force on writing stuff (and still totally awake and also nervous and talking too much - SWIM doesnt remember having full meth effects on the body without the mind effects so long after the last line.

sadly SWIM doesnt know how to edit his topic, but he wants to add he phoned with one of his friends who uses is daily and he said that SWIM and this one friend snorted away everything they had bought that day, and even his friend who is on meth 90% of the time sweats like hell and is totally disoriented (not usual for him).

SWIM's tolerance is worlds apart from his friend's, but if SWIM's friend feels the effects (and SWIM snorted as much as he - also not usual for him but its pretty much one of the best he ever had.

and SWIM forgot to say that he smoked two pots on the night from saturday to sunday, with not THAT good hash but was ok - his one friend who smoked also was totally stoned (he didnt smoke pot for 2 years where SWIM smokes everyday if he's not on something else).

feelings getting slighty better, but senses are still like tuned up 10 times and right now SWIM hears all the people in the house talking and his eyes are tired as hell, but everytime he closes his eyes (no sleeping possible yet) instantly he hears (yeah, SWIM HEARS THEM IN HIS EARS) 10 police officer boots running up the stairs.

too much meth? (for me...one snort about every two to three hours, pretty big lines,and a feeling if lady meth made the lines and took really much. yeah that evening SWIM built all the lines for the first time. easy system, everytime someone calls for a line they take it from another one of them, more often from the other ones because SWIM's lines for him are smaller - that evening they were same size).

oh and SWIM forgot a very intimidating event on the way home: his bus was too late so he would have had to wait 1 hour for the next and compared to walking 20 minutes, he decided to walk home, but taking a 2 minute break at the station. SWIM had a bit more than a line of crystal and 2g piece hidden in an old candy something between his feet. yeah, really. and that was his luck, he sat there for a minute, police car comes by, pretty slowly, drives a bit farther and turns around. SWIM with meth reactions and total fear inside kicked the "candy stuff" (was really older, smint or something) into the other trash under the bank he was sitting on. was dark, and no lights on the bus stations.

luckily they only asked for his name and even more luckily, SWIM never had any affairs with the police so nothing bad under his name and they didnt even check him. they were even pretty nice to him and in that time SWIM was like a stone on the outside and hell inside. he waited somewhat 20 minutes before he "accidently" lost an euro under the bank to take his stuff and every f***** single car driving by scared the hell outta SWIM (lots of cops in civil dress and cars around, SWIM even knows almost all the secret civil cars but like descried, knowledge and logical thinking doesnt help him right now...

he's hoping to be able to sleep soon, but the too much talking effect of meth is somewhat still there as you can read here pretty much.

at least, SWIM could write that shit off his soul, helped a bit. SWIM is very stable, psychological-wise, but that night he thought he'll go to hell right now.

SWIM's still got some half gram of hash there, and after writing that wall of text and getting a bit of sleepy (very good feeling), maybe a bit of hash will help to sleep. at least to lower the senses a bit - hearing car wheels on a wet street 250 meters away like if he stood 5 meters away is really a PITA.

yeah, you see the meth effect, SWIM writes everything down here instantly that comes by his mind.

it's 2:20 AM now. SWIM slept for 5 hours last night (5:30 AM - 10:30 AM), and SWIM was fully awake in a second after waking up. usually SWIM needs at least 30 minutes to be able to function.

SWIM did not sleep for about 55 hours (on meth). smoking some weed on Mo 5:00 AM made him very sleepy, he was sleeping the moment he closed his eyes. his sleep was very very deep (no dreams).

now, SWIM has to go to work in 3 hours and is still awake. He smoked some pot at ~11:30 PM to get tired but after smoking it he was even more awake and seing strange tunnels of color with closed eyes, but not "tripping". SWIM feels somehow energetic and very focused. Still no appetite, forced himself to eat at about 9 PM (pizza). got heavy nausea after just a little of it, feeling like food is disgusting to him. SWIM also drank cola, 1.5 liters today.

SWIM is really worried about getting tired and sleepy at work or even falling asleep. What should he do now?

SWIM's last time snorting meth was at 22:00 on sunday or so, dont remember exactly. snorted a total of about 0.4 grams from saturday evening to sunday evening. quality was very good

overdose? SWIM's tolerance should be pretty low, he didnt do it often before and even then rarely (roughly 2 times/month).

still no "comedown" feeling as usual (very tired, sick, feeling like he cant move one more step, sweating a lot). SWIM doesnt hear and see things that are not there anymore and no real paranoia now - still heightened senses, especially ears.

SWIM thinks, if this comes from meth, he won't do it again ever....

swim has had similar reactions on coke. 2 bangin grams in a day made swim extremely paranoid that people were closing in on him while talkin quietly to one another. weed most likely made these symptoms more pronounced. swim doesnt think weed mixes too well with stimulants. just booze and hallucinogens seem to complement weed. but, booze +weed can equal spin city.

It is said that your frontal lobe begins to shut down after being awake approx. 36 hours, basically going to sleep without you, so staying awake past that benchmark is all downhill.

Although meth does not directly cause hallucinations, it can often keep you awake to the point where your mind invents its own reality. Swim has seen some crazy shit.

actually yes. swim has experience with both. however, swim has found that the hallucinations in the paranoia sense are he same. normally, it takes swim two days or so of being high and awake b4 swim starts hallucinating. however, swim has been far more p[aranoid than stated in above thread. swim was on day eleven, and could barely control swims self from yelling at random people that swim thought were trying to kill swim. very scary, but swim actually enjoy it. swim is fucked in the head. lol.

maybe that horrotrip was just the right thing that could happen to SWIM because it made him stop using meth completely. and SWIM really doesnt feel like doin' it again.

Swim experienced something similair on normal amphetamin. Actually more than 1 time. Every time swim passes the 30 hour mark swim starts seeing things, not LSD like hallucinations but flies / bugs and living fish in the toilet.. When swim goes outside swim see alot of people but everytime swim gets closer they never were there.

It's about 2 ½ month since swim did something like this and swim never want to return. Swim's done with amph / Meth.

Oh the hallucinations off of Meth into its third or fourth day seem so real that the user has a difficult time telling what is real and what is being imagen. Swim has felt that fear of cops busting her, when that fear was unfounded. Swim thought there was an undercover cop in almost every car. Kept seeing the same cars so wrote down license to ensure they weren't the same car. Living in an APT going through a meth's parinoid dillusions is a nightmare. Swim would hear voices coming from the top, bottom and sides of her apartment and these voices were talking about swim. Then after some sleep, the hallucinations will be much weaker, however, one of the side effects is a running commentary going on in swim's head. Until she found Risperdal, her life was one big illusion under meths' spell. With the help of Risperdal, these voices went away just as long as swim did not do an all-nighter.

Swim had MANY hallucinations on meth that she can look back on and laugh...one time she nailed blankets to the wall, one after another, because she was sure the people in the apartment next door could see her.

Swim also caused herself way too much stress with the thought of getting busted. She would hide her meth in the most unusual places and always be ready to grab it and flush it in case the cops busted in.

Being a tweaker was the most stressful time in Swim's life!!! LOL

SWISD hopes that anyone who may or may not be doing any kind of meth or coke at the has the sense to know that neither on directly causes any kind of hallucinations. That being said, there are thinks in the cuts used that can contribute. So the 1st thing SWISD suggests to all, is to clean your product well. Next thing, it is a proven fact that sleep deprevation is a mother fucker! It is one of the worst trips you can go on. As someone else said your body functions start to shut down one by one. As this happens you can see and hear all kinds of shit you have never seen before. SWISD had a foaf who was shooting random holes in the floor of his trailer thinking the law was under there. He also had a foaf who couldn't even see his own floor but yet he could see the dea agengets hanging upside down wearing camo and looking through binoculars in a tree, 2oo yards away with listening devices. LOL IT WAS NOT THE METH that made these things happen. It was sleep deprevation. Both were on about day 5 with no sleep. SWISD is good for 3 days. After that he knows its time to get some rest. Everyone should know where their threshold is and don't deviate from it.

On the 4th day, SWIM had a guy made out of CHAINS following SWIM to his guys house. He even clanked and made noises. Silver guy, too. Saw him out of the corner of my eye...

The paint also melted off walls.

SWIM says dont try to ingest anything to come down while still high on Meth... SWIM tried to come down (while high) using Zolpidem once and Diphenhydramine another... SWIM's night[s] was/were the worst night[s] he could remember.

SWIM has also seen some crazy things... SWIM wants to know, has anyone experiencied Olfactory hallucinations? Smelling things that you know arent there... SWIM has had this happen on several occasions.

that's exactly right. this is why swim avoids binging for more than 3 days. After the 3rd day, its actually not even fun anymore. SWIM is so delusive and paranoid he can barely function. He's had plenty of visual and auditory hallucinations on meth before, but not until the 3rd day.

Usually the meth hallucinations are caused by lack of sleep, lack of food, lack of water. In SWIM's experience, mixing meth with pot/hash is a very bad idea, it usually intensifies the paranoia and the hallucinations. SWIM went through that once and he will never ever in his life smoke pot and meth in the same day. Also, the thing with meth, unfortunately, as we all know, is that one moment you can be feeling on top of the world, and the next moment everything can turn into a nightmare. Think of your worst nightmare (for most people I guess it would be being busted by cops) and meth intensifies it to the point where you think you're going to go crazy. I think what you've described has probably happened to almost everyone that does meth on a regular basis. It's happened to me, and boy, does it fucking suck. The only thing you can do is eat, rest, and just wait to calm down.

Swim after a two-day-tweaking everytime see the ghosts,dark voices-speak bad about Swim...It is funny and amazing experience how much is swims brain able to fool swim,and swim can believe.But many times this game end up with a serious trouble,esspecially if someone have fear about his life.Dont be a dumbass and still remind thats going on only in your brain..

swim never tried meth and never will but likes yayo alot and the only downside is the damn paranoia. SWIM has to drive to pick up his stuff he usually picks enough that he doesn't have to go to his dealer again when the coke comedown happens but the last time swim had less than a gram that he finished and wanted to pick up more. SWIM swears driving high on cocaine is the worst damn thing... esp if swiy have some on you.

Damn thats a bad comedown. Not many people realize it but this kinda shit happens all the time with speed. It makes you delusional. The trick is to remember that your just hallucinating and relax and you'll eventually fall asleep and wake up back to normal.

BTW all that police stuff is normal. Thats mild compared to some of the delusions swim has had. One time swim thought the KGB were after him and were using psychic weaponry to fuck with his mind knowing that it would seem normal because he was on speed. Swim left the house and was acting like a complete madman every parked car he saw he was convinced there were KGB agents sitting in them monitoring him so he'd walk up to them and stare in the windows to see if they looked like KGB agents but every time it was just people waiting for someone to come out of a house. I was so crazy that night that I saw an old granny sitting in her car with the headlights off and I thought she was a KGB agent. After I got some sleep I looked back on it and remember how insane I'd become. I was reading an article about the KGB a few nights earlier so thats what triggered it in my mind.

In my experience the problem is not eating and drinking water while your on the stuff. The negative hallucinations are your bodies symbolic way of telling you to stop abusing it. I've had voices in my head telling me I'm going to starve to death or OD and things like that so now when I start hearing voices I know its time to force myself to eat and drink.

That is a very rough comedown indeed. I must say however that he may be making the comedown uneccesarily rough on himself by sticking with that rule about not taking anything to help come down.

One thing is for sure, you gotta have the right drugs to do that. Benadryl? I'm not surprised he felt worse. I take clonazepam for anxiety I've dealt with most of my life, and if I've been partying, I usually have to double up the dose (which I don't like to do).

By far the best thing I've ever taken when I was sky high, was an anti-psychotic (seroquel). I slept so good it was better rest than I get when I'm sober. My doc prescribes them to people who have very busy thoughts that keep them awake. It's a relatively short-acting anti-psych so it's not real usefull for an actual schizophrenic.

I haven't tried any of tht others, (zyprexa, risperdal, etc.) but I have heard of others taking them and they get similar results.

As far as the hallucinations go, I get em from sleep deprivation, and I tend to see things move suddenly in the corners of my eyes, and I hear music and conversations that aren't there. Oh, and I hallucinate smells too!

A few people recommended Haldol. Its supposed to be good to have around for acid trips just in case. If your stuck in the middle of a bad trip and you don't feel like toughing it out these anti psychotics are supposed to bring you back to normal.

BTW swims had olfactory (smells) hallucinations too. One night he was sure there was a smell of burning plastic in his house and searched the house like mad to make sure there wasn't a fire then he went out and he could still smell it everywhere he went. Swims had one extreme visual hallucination where he saw a piece of plastic moving rapidly like insect wings (it was that real thin straw wrapper plastic) and when he went in for a closer inspection it stopped moving. Apart from that he's never actually seen anything that wasn't there. He's knows some people that have though. One of his friends was positive there was a helicopter following him but nobody else could see the helicopter. Madness.

It was very common for swim to hallucinate on a meth binge. Mostly seeing cops that weren't there or the swat team.Swim's hubby had those same helicopers following him, that is odd isn't it? In swim's worst psycosiss, she had airplanes spying on her as was the FBI. Crazy stuff.
