Should SWIM stop using ecstasy before addiction starts?

Swim took ecstasy for the first time new years ever 2007 and again last night.

swim found it extremely hard to go a whole week without it wating for the next saturday to come so he could take it again and feels that life is so dull without it having such an amazing experience on it.

swim wonbders if this could be the start to an addiction and wonders whether he should stop all of this before it starts

it is possible SWIMs opinion on X being addictive is that its so beautiful and if u dont have a bad trip/downer there really is nothing to block you from going at first. this caused SWIM to injest maybe 10-12 pills in the time of 2 months or so. SWIM stopped without a problem but he feels that he did notice some effect from his happy time.

to answer your question YES it COULD BE. but are you going to just slip and watch yourself or take control of your habit and understand you cant enjoy it ALL THE TIME. IMO thats what makes it so wonderful

from what your saying, i would definitely recommend that SWIY doesnt get in to that. or atleast, i wouldnt. i mean everyone wants to do shit that feels good but SWIY just has to make sure that feeling isnt something unhealthy. people who dont consider this are usually considered "Crackheads and junkies"

swim appreciates all advice thats given swim would not consider himself a junkie nothing like that but yea swim has had 2 amazing experiences on them and having been so happy whilst on them naturally you would want that again.

so swim really looks forward to taking them more although if anything this would be weekly not daily but then in the future is swim right in understanding this can have bad affects etc tbh swim does not know a lot about the drug and is here to learn and be sensable on them.

people do a weeks work they go out on a friday and saturday night and drink masses amount of alcohol would it be wrong to replace alcohol with 2 pills for the night ?

theres a lot swim doesnt understand and he is not sure where to post some questions he has.

you get my drift so basically would 8 pills a month be a habit or considered a junkie etc if swim was replacing alcohol and taking E instead.

SWIM felt the same as SWIY after her first experience with Ecstasy, and she spent a couple of years taking Ecstasy every weekend until they stopped working for her. She definitely thinks she was mentally addicted to them, but like SWIY has said, a lot of people drink every weekend, so I guess it depends on how SWIY views there drug taking and how much self control SWIY has. Most people recommend taking at least a 3 week break between pills so as not to lose the magic though, so this should this also be considered.

yea thats what every 1 around swim keeps saying dont do them reguarly you will loose the magic etc.

maybe SWIM should just listen and maybe do them once a month and have an amazing night when he does its defintely worth the wait or if he goes clubbing or something special occasions swim goes to his brothers on weekends and there is also great trance music played by his brother who is a DJ lights off and 10 - 20 people so its great to be able to socialise and have a brilliant night.

as much as SWIM wants to do them reguarly i think he should listen to you guys and just do them on maybe a monthly basis or when there is a special event.

swim thinks among all the other great feelings you get on E the best has got to be the way the music running through your body but being a shy person finding it hard to talk confidentally with the opposite sex ( if swim has never met them ) they are great for that to swim has to say that his experiences on E has been undescribable like swim has been to heaven and back now thats all swim thinks about hehe.

well its SWIYs decision so if SWIY like it that much they should def go for it. SWIM would just say try not to over-do it and jus make sure SWIY can control his/her temptations so they dont form into habits.

SWIm had a similar feeling about E when he first took it, the only thing stopping him from doing it more is the bad example his nephew set and he hates the look of people who took E. The big eyed, non-stopping chewing reflex is dirrrrrrty. Seriously it was a real eye opener. The way SWIY jaw muscles must contract when taken E makes porbably make him look aggressive and overall ugly.
When using it long term, SWIY's cheeks will fall in, and his chewingmuscles are gonna get all Jaws on him. It isn't a pretty sight!

Oh and maybe one day SWIY will be lucky enough to get a real bad pill that gives him uncomfertable feelings. ) . Try 'pure' MDMA in small quantities. Just enough to be awake and feel good, but it won't be as magic as E thats for sure. BTW being more social is good thing but often SWIY doesn't realises that SWIy looks like a complete jackass to someone who hasn't used E.

Well 13 pills a night will make you have one crazy night and propably do some mad embarrasing shit, you didn't really need that much

Jus try not to do it daily a lot and be buyin more n more each week, stick to a limit you make your self but I would say it's ok to enjopy them a bit more than once a month

why dont you try pre and post loading with 5htp this will make the pill work better and the crash less intense, also the midweek blues(and hence the urge to drop) diminishes greatly.

Its not always gonna be the 'first time roll' After a while, it can become very taxing on your body.

It could develope into a problem if you cant control it and start takin pills every day. swim would say takin them once every 2 weeks is a good pace to go. swim thinks when every1 starts takin pills, they wait for the next time to come, this isnt a problem. problems start when you feel like you cant live without pills, swims never experienced this but he knows people who have. As long as you can control your drug use you will be alright.

Swim doesn´t advocate this, but he always did drugs as often, as he wanted to, thoroughly upping the dose and or frequency for maximum hedonistic effects, but always managed getting off, when sides obviously overpowered the wanted effects.

Swim thinks that fear should be fought with knowledge and honesty and the will power to act like this, letting the good times roll!

SWIM used to do XTC every weekend because he too loved them. But then he stopped and he went without for over a year. And now SWIM just takes XTC everyone in a while maybe once every two months or whatever. And SWIM has found the less often he does XTC the more he appreciates it when he does.

So SWIM will give you the same advice like everyone else. Enjoy XTC but not too regulary

SWIM would rather roll than do any other drug he has experienced. Conventional wisdom says to keep it to a once every three to four weeks. This regimen has worked well for SWIM and his mate. The experience is just as fresh each time and we want to keep it that way. Once a month is just fine with SWIM. Keep the magic alive and fresh. Of course, your mileage may vary.
