Extraction - Smoking opium from tea via pods?

SWIM has serously searched just about every topic in this 4 page section about opium and poppys and while hes found some similar questions non really answer him compleatly.

Anyways SWIM was woundering if after you made your opium tea from dried growned up poppy pods if its possible to evaporate it down into a solid and then smoke it like treditional opium?

SWIM doesnt see why it really wouldent work but hes not sure. He is going to try and make the tea, filter it, evap the liquid as much as possible then just smoke?

does anyone see a reason why this wouldent work?
