Opiates (prescription) in Greece, how tightly are they regulated?

Swim know some greek friends who vacation in Greece 2-5wks a year. A few of these people say that OC's are available ar pharmacies w/o a script. Also they state swiy can buy ~140 80mg OC's for XX euro.

Now Swim HOPES this is true but puts about a .00001% chance of it being true. If any swim's know drug laws in Greece, could someone post so I can tell these arrogant little boys to shut up! They tell evryone like they own their homeland..

i checked erowid, google and a few other websites but they did not specificly mention. a scource said that medicines with codiene are over the counter but it seemed unreliable. i would be extremely interested in finding out if all opiates are OTC there.

They shure aren't. Greece is a modern western country, and SWIM doubts opiates are OTC in Greece, well maybe codeine, but not Oxycodone.

Swim thanks you for your serches. Swim did his own and found none of the prior claims to be true. Swim just thought it odd that numerous people that swim knows stated the same fact. Swim thinks it is one of these two reasons. Swim's friends don't want other swims to know that they are getting them locally, or they have a very good hookup- possibly an owner of pharmacies.

Either way, this myth is busted, lol..
