Need help with fentanyl blotter

Ok i have been able to get some fentanyl blotters that are claimed to be 150 mcgs. I have been using the patch for pain. I took one of these blotters and the euphoric reaction was overwhelming. It was so intense i could not function.

My question is should 150mcg of fentanyl do this? I never get this from teh patch. If i use a 75mcg patch how do I calculate what doesage an instant release i can use? I .e if 75mcg patch release 75mcg per hour how much of a blotter do i take each hour to match that?If i cut the patch in 1/2 would it be like a 75mcg patch?

I am sure the mods will state this but you want to use SWIM not to incriminate yourself...

Out of curiosity how may forums did you ask this question on about the blotters?, being as I have already read it on anouther baord...Are you sure it is fent. on the blotteR? First off why would the put it on blotter, being as most junkies would rather shoot it, NOT take in orally? I dont think there would be an accurate way to measure the right dosage onto each blotter, too say there is diffently X amount on eahc one....

Well you were doing ok, until that flame thread. you could easily get your answer here, he was simply pointing at that self incrimination isn't allowed. Please read the rules and use the word swim.

To answer your question, the blotter in question, that is going around is NOT fentanyl but rather an analog of which I don't remember the name of. They have been flooding out of colorado and sanfrancisco. you will not get the same euphoria from any fantanyl patch. be careful with these substances as overdoses are easy.

Swim doesn't think Oathrocks did anything wrong. He warded you to help you yet you still continue to not follow the rules. Swim thinks that you need to read the forum rules about self-incrimination. When you post do not use the subject "I" instead use the subject "SWIM", got it?

Also, if swiy is sure these are fentanyl and 150mcg, cut it in half to get 75mcg. Or you could cut in 1/3's and get 50mcg per peice. See no chem skills needed.

Is the blotter here an actual blotter with fentanyl or an analogue put onto it? Or is it a pharmaceutical grade patch? If it's a patch, what brand?

If it is a blotter, cutting a 150 mcg patch in half would IDEALLY give 75 mcg, but there's no guarantee that the fentanyl is distributed evenly across a street-grade blotter, so be careful with this. It would have the potential to have "hot spots" where some parts of the blotter contain higher doses of fentanyl than others, so two equally sized pieces of blotter could theoretically wind up with one being ineffective and the other deadly.

SWIM would point out that the 150mcg on the blotter (if indeed actual amount) would be a rather high dose for one to use over an hour period even for a habitual user. This would imply a person wears 1-1oomcg + 1-50mcg patch and gets the effects over a 1 hour period. SWIM takes 3@ 30mg tabs of IR oxy 3 times daily and used to use 150mcg patch Fentanyl and a few 5mg oxy IR per day(before it got too expensive without insurance) this is about equivalent between the two for SWIM's pain relief. In other words taking the entire 150mcg in a hit would be okay for someone tolerant and would probably be a good rush especially if slammed. I would assume that considering bioavailability of Fent compared to Oxy SWIM would not recommend this amount to an Opiate niave person. It might be a trip to the ER. As far as goldie1 goes I'd say since SWIY does 75 patches SWIY is just doing twice the normal 1 hour dose in an IR method. And since bioavailability is lower PO than transdermal SWIY is well within the limits of SWIY's IR limits. Anyone else agree???????
