Need Help Fast! oxycodone question

SWIM took 10mg of oxycodone and needs to get rid of the effects that it is producing fast, i know there are ways to make the effects stronger so are there any ways to counteract or weaken the buzz produced from it?

Aside from taking an opiate antagonist, the only thing one could probably do, is try to throw it up, or wait it out. Depending on how long ago it was taken, it may not even help to throw up, as that would be a question for poison control. Also, 10mgs will probably not be enough to kill most people, so SWIM wouldn't worry too much..

10mg is not a strong dose and a normally healthy adult should be able to handle it. Drink some water and make sure your breathing doesn't shallow.

Why does SWIY need to get rid of the effects? If its because your parents are coming home sooner than expected or some trivial reason like that, then SWIY should probably just relax because as SWIpink said, its not a very strong dose. Now if SWIY is allergic to oxycodone, he is basically already screwed and should throw up his stomach contents ASAP. If SWIY is deathly allergic to this substace, he should call 911 even if he is afraid of getting "in trouble" because its better safe than sorry.

no SWIM is not allergic to it, SWIM has experienced doses up to 20mg, it has to do with SWIM's parents and SWIM feeling naucious and not able to concentrate.

well then SWIY should just go to sleep, or just avoid his parents. If SWIY's parents happen to get suspicious and confront him, just say he took some cough medicine or something and SWIY doesnt feel good. If SWIY throws up, it usually feels ALOT better afterwads and one can relax so he might just want to get it over with, or just sip on water and maybe take an exedrine and or dramamine.

thanks for the advice. SWIM just said his stomach felt very sick and that I must have eaten something bad. SWIM's parents gave him some maalox max style medicine and SWIM feels better now, no more opoids for SWIM.

If SWIdr were SWIY, he wouldnt give up opiods/opiates just because of this experience. At first SWIdr would get sick all the time and sometimes still does when he takes percocets (oxycodone) and vikodin (hydrocodone), but now his experiences are much much better! There are things SWIY can do to reduce the naseau, like:eat a meal before takeing opiate, smoke a lil marijuana, take some anti-naseau pills like promethazine (although they can add to opiate effects, and alot of other stuff. A cup of coffee or two, and the plausible explanation that SWIM has a headache, would likely cover the dullness of mind brought on by narcotics. Especially for such a minor dosage as 10mg of oxycodone. That's only the equivalent of 2 percocets - which is something Bongo has had prescribed before and the doctor didn't even bother to ask if he was driving a car. Read: Most people would consider this to be rather tame dosage level.

But, as I write this, it is too late. Mom & Dad are onto SWIM being a hardcore junkie. He should be on the next episode of "Intervention" with weeping parents and "drug-experts" claiming percocets are made out of formaldehyde and model airplane glue and cause fatal brain-damage if one so much as reads the label on the bottle. SWIM is doomed. Alas poor SWIM!

swim likes the nausea from perks. It at least lets him know he took enough. A quick little puke and everything is good. The puke isn't even bad cause you are so f-ed up and can't feel anything. maybe swim is jsut weird. parents normally don't know what to look for with opiates so i wouldn't have really worried. They will normally think your just ill. swim has had times where he had no pupils was pale as a ghost, throwing up, and sweating like hell. His parents though he had a stomach virus. maybe his parents are jsut super ignorant or jsut dont want to admit that there "perfect son" is a drug abuser.
