Cocaine and the LAW
I know a person whos is in the police force and he was telling me that a lot of goverment ministers and police bosses arent that keen on catching cocaine dealers as people would hope so . The reason being , if they go too far with the censorship of cocaine more people would then turn to meth and that is what people dont want . Whats everyones opinion on this ?

Re: Cocaine and the LAW
Sounds like bullshit. DEA and local enforcement everywhere is cracking down on Meth and Cocaine.
It is true however that cocaine is much less addictive then other drugs such as heroin. But both meth and crack cause more "street level" crime then opiates. |

For real? I'm sure heroin addicts are quiet and peaceful when they have access to it (especially compared to cokeheads and tweakers), but I can imagine them going to great and unpleasant lengths to get some if they run out of drugs and money. Perhaps just because meth is so much easier to obtain? No need to grow or import plants, just do a little chemistry with OTC meds...? Hm. Now I wonder if there are any reliable statistics on which street drugs are the most popular. ECL |
