I do GHB as a substitute for alcohol. Health effects?

I have been using GHB as a substitute for alcohol for som etime now for the following reasons. - No hangover, -Easier to get up in the morning(easier then if you did no drugs the night befor),-Save money on beer at the bar because i just drink water the whole time,-Does not show up on a breath test,-Can feel as drunk as if i drank 6 to 8 beers in about 10 minutes,-Feel horny and you dont have a problem getting erections.
The problem is that i cant find any reserch on how bad it is for you. I only do it once a week. Does anyone know what this stuff does to you?
