Poppy seed tea. New extraction theory

As I sit here typing this I've got a nice buzz that i'd compare to about 60-70mg morphine. See what I normally do is pick up 2lbs of poppy seeds from my friendly neighborhood Whole food store for about $5.
I then put 64oz water in a pot turn heat on hi get the water hot, throw in the seeds and about 1/2 cup lemon juice to etract the yummy alkaloids.Bring it just about to a boil the just let it sit for 20min stirring randomly.
This works just fine, but getting about45oz of this "tea" into me is a pain in my ass cuz it dont exatly taste to good.

See each seed contains .000xamount of morphine cant recall the exact amount so i was thinking add a few Tbs of lye to the pot of seeds and water then heat and steep, filter out seeds, add naptha and either gas the naptha or follow through with standard a/b extraction. Doing this with like 10lbs of seed could get ya like 1-1.5g of morphinehcl

Any thoughts?
