Can you snort Kanna????????

Yes kanna is one of those "drugs" you can take just about anyway youcan think of orally,snuff,smoke, etc. From what I know if it inters the body it can work but some have better luck with smoking it while others have better luck with taking it orally or snorting.

You can, but chewing Kanna AKA Sceletium tortuosum is far more effective. Snorting Kanna feels like you have your nose full of hay. Itchy as hell.

what dosage would you suggest?

take a few small pinches and smoke it or snort it, eating it is
disgusting. You dont need much, I have read that people take amounts
from 50mg all the way up 350mg at a time. Also it seems to have a cap
on how 'high' you can get on it, for instance if you take it once a day
then taking it again in the same day will have either no effect or a
greatly lesser effect...thats my opinion.

You got that confused with Dagga. Dagga is an african word for marijuana. Hints the name for the african plant Wild dagga.

I have read lots about kanna but never tried it until 30 minutes ago, figured I start with snorting it. OUCH, I rather snort a RC! This stuff is so light that to snort a half gram would be an impossible stunt. I did an estimated 150-200mgs first dose. The pain goes away pretty quick but damn, Im gonna try oral/smoking. Effects are hard to explain since this is my first time, my pupils are noticably dialated which I did not expect. No stimulation but my face and head feel funny somewhat dizzy. Not very impressed so far but I know better to judge things after giving it one pathetic attempt.

Well I got some and it seems to give me a feeling of clarity and well
being with just a dab. Wish it would last all day though. Maybe orally
in higher doses.

the best succses i had with kanna was when i mixed it with weed. like for me it takes the smallest amount of kronic, like half a hit, and then put a nice individual hit of kanna on top of it. i dont even feel the weed effect but i feel the kanna almost twice as strong then kanna alone (smoking it of coarse, bong seems to work best, i tried lacing a joint with it and it would even run, couldnt get a hit out of it, just a waste)

I love kanna... I snort it or I smoke it in a joint with some weed or
hasj, the best combo with kanna is MDMA. It's a good combo and a good
booster for you're MDMA

If you want it to last all day, take it orally. 1-3 size "00"
gelcaps is enough. Start off with one, and see how that is.
Takes a while to come on, 45-90 munites. Lasts a good long while,
8 hours or so.

might work like an ssri ala prozac and zolof

which acts on the serotonin.

this can explain how it might encrese teh efeccts of mdma by making
more serotonin avalible, and also make sense that you will crash on it.

would be interesting to investigate peopel that take it regulraly and
than take some mdma. peopel on ssri tend not to feel much effect from
mdma.

Kanna gives me a head ache. I would like to try fresh Sceletium though. But I have given up caps, liquids, smokes, etc. All no good for me. To mild effect and to much head ache.

Fresh sceletium is supposed to contain oxalic acid, which is not good
for you. Fermenting and drying it removes/lowers the amount of
oxalic acid to safe levels.



But then again spinach has it too, and we eat raw spinach in salads, to no obvious ill effect.

I received a gram of Kanna snuff in the post today. Racked out a couple of 2cm lines, not too bad on the nostrils, a bit of a 10 second burn. felt nice and calm after about 10-15 mins.
I was doing a bit of gardening feeling pretty well ok with the exertion. After an hour or so I had about twice the initial dose. I began to feel it more, guess I felt a bit hot. This led me indoors where I had lunch and surfed a bit.
Now is 4 hours after the initial, I have felt good the whole time, (maybe with a slight prediliction towards apathy, no bad thing after all!) Ive just had another pinch and will head off to the supermarket now to see how it performs in public under artificial light. So far so good!

Well, quite a nice little trip out into the great outdoors. The dose was nice yet not overpowering, full functioning with a nice bit of drug comfort. I'm probably not the best person really for trying out this substance as my reason for testing out kanna is to find an alternative buzz that makes dealing with public sector work bearable. I need some kind of a blanket around me as I spend 8 hours of my life pretending to be interested in peoples needs.
For what its worth I shall keep at the stuff and post my observations.

Kanna is good for swim's mouse but takes so long for it to kick in and the effects are mild. Swim is interested in how the effects would differ if the dose was incredibly high like 8-10 grams.
