Drug info - Woman complains to police about shoddy crack cocaine

MIAMI, United States (AFP) - A North Carolina woman was arrested after she complained to a police officer about a batch of "bad" crack cocaine she bought, authorities said.
Eloise Reaves, 50, approached a police officer Friday in the parking lot of a convenience store in Putnam County and told him she had been sold poor quality crack and wanted his help getting her money back, police said in a statement.
"She then took the crack from out of her mouth and placed it on the trunk of Deputy Pedrick's patrol car," the police said.
The sheriff's deputy, Jeffery Pedrick, warned Reaves that if the substance tested positive, she would be arrested.
After a test came back positive, Reaves said the crack was a poor mix of wax and cocaine and that the man who sold it to her should give her money back.
She was arrested and booked into the local jail on 1,504 dollars bond, and has since been released.
Police also searched the man Reaves accused of selling her the crack, but found no drugs or money on him, they said.

She wasn't blond was she ? It has to be one of the dumbest things I've heard for a while and now she has a drug posession to add to her criminal record.

Reminds me of a night when SWIM was young. He and his friend had met this speeding hobo who'd been on amphetamine for 3 days, in front of Notre Dame in Paris. The said hobo, blabering on and on, finally asked for a joint, which swim had and gave, and the hobo proceeded to roll on a bench. Out came the the troopers, one two three, as the song would have it but actually two, two policemen and flashlights
Hobo jumps and spills the tobacco/ weed content.
"what are you doing there mister" says policeman.
And instead of hiding the fact, hobo start starts spinning : "ok, you got me, t'wasz a joint, just a mere little joint, no harm done, c'mon, wasn't cocaine or anything, just a little joint of rien du tout, it's not gonna kill children or anything right he"..... about a minute of non stop talking.
followed by :
" by the way, I dropped the contents, would you mind helping me out with that flashlight of yours so I can pick up the pieces?"

which...the policeman does. he illuminated the spilled tobacco and weed, which hobo picked up, thanked them and resumed rolling.
and the police just said goodnight and left...
and hobo went on talking about magic mushrooms of the Vosges...

now if this had been a country with more lenient laws than France, it would had been less surprising. But this was a rare moment, about 12 years ago.
