FBI's Carnivore program
Swim recently had a problem with his comp (out of no where shut down and would not load, system would hang on loading Mup.sys, still is not fixed)swim looked on google for soluitions to his problem and found out thats the common error after the FBI's "Carnivore" program has Sync with your comp.
swim is at class right now, more when swim fixes comp

If that was swim pc, he would trash the hd, do a clean install of linux, and try to stay out of the spotlight.

I find it very unlikely that you were actually targetted with carnivore. To begin with - the FBI does not have any advanced rootkit tech. so that means in all likelihood Carnivore is not a program that actually installs itself on a users computer. The "carnivore program" refers more probably to a program the FBI has setup with various ISPs and data centers to monitor their SMTP(e-mail) traffic.
