Combinations - Kratom Combinations

Hey all, I think it would be cool if everyone could post information on combinations involving Kratom. A good post would be what the combination was, the doses, health aspects, and of course what the lab rat's thought of it. SWIM has been interested with combining Kratom with tramadol, hydrocodone, caffine, adderall, etc.

And on a side note, regarding kratom and the liver. Everywhere swim has looked recently has stated that kratom is a powerful antioxidant. Wouldnt this make it good for your liver?

Kratom(6 grams red-vein leaf crushed and brewed in a tea)with 60mg adderall xr,40mg oxycontin and repeated sour diesal puffs was nice though a little nausea 20 minutes after drinking tea

Kratom(same dose as above)with 60mg adderall xr very nice

Kratom resin at tail end of 8gram psilocybin trip was very helpful and calming

Kratom 15x(2 grams) with smoked crack cocaine,forgot the kratom was there only thought:more crack more crack more crack

Kratom Bali powder(4 grams) with DMT 45mg smoked,like any DMT experience,quick back to Kratom effects at the end

SWIM recently took 15mg hydrocodone (it was all he had) and took some of his new Kratom shipment in capsules. A few miinutes later he tried to make a crude Kratom tea. He ended up feeling pretty good, but his stomache was not happy, not really nasuea just upset stomache. SWIMs Kratom isn't powered this time (apparently powdered and crushed arent the same thing) So how does one injest this Kratom? Crush it up til it is powder? It isn't deveined either.

Do not mix heavy opium with kratom specially extracts of it or any other strong cns downer. while stimulating in small doses kratom in larger doses poses more as a cns depressant while nice by itself it poses risk with other cns depressents.

Roger, roger. SWIM was listening to his body the whole time. Took two no-doz during this time as well. Probably a little stressing on his system, but he treated himself to Green Tea and good nutrition the next few days. Going to try Kratom again this weekend, cant decide whether to try another combo or just by itself. Leaning towards alone.

Small amounts only thou i.e a couple of beers depending on the dose in which you have made (kratom-wise). Don't over do it as Alcohol is a well know depressant.

7.5 grams + 2 shots of vodka consumed slightly afterwards: very pleasant, nice synergistic effect, alcohol helps with sociability (normally opiates make swim not want to talk to anyone)
10 grams kratom + 2 bowls marijuana + 4 beers: very very out of it, almost psychedelic experience, nodding off frequently
15 grams kratom + 4 shots of vodka: strong kratom high, very synergistic effect. 2 hours into it swim sufferred from the worst possible headache possible.

alcohol increases the effect. swim always includes a few beers for maximum effect. Swim is aware its proably not the safest thing but you cant beat it.

Due to kratoms strain on the liver, drinking alchohol will not be advised.

SWIM likes weed and kratom (hell, SWIM likes weed with everything!).
Kratom also mixes well with psychedelics at the tail end of the trip. It seems to block some, esp. tryptamines, if taken before.
Alcohol mixes well, but is more potent with the kratom.
SWIM overall did not like it much in combination with MDPV. Dulled the stimulant effects and caused anxiety in high doses.

Bongo would like to report that pre-dosing with 2gms of calcium carbonate (Tums) 10 minutes prior to ingesting a standard (for Bongo) dose of kratom increases the effects of the kratom. Qualitatively a significant increase was noted. Quantitative results remain unknown.

SWIM has only had problems with kratom in combination with one or two specific downers... most are fine, and don't seem to potentiate each other very much. Ambien + kratom is the exception that comes to mind... scary combination, SWIM got deathly ill twice.

Now as far as kratom plus UPPERS, for some reason that combo appears more risky. At least risky in terms of the potential for severe panic attacks and such, and possibly seizures and other problems. SWIM will not be mixing K with uppers again, but he continues to cautiously combine with various downers.

P.S. SWIM does not really think of kratom as either an 'upper' or a 'downer' -- it's essentially an opiate agonist, with certain effects that sometimes feel "up" and sometimes "down." If he had to put it into one category though, it probably acts more like a CNS depressant (despite how it makes a person feel at a given dosage).

SWIM read that before, but could not believe it to be that dramatical.

A very short negative example :

-23:00 : 2mg 2-DPMP is consumed.
-05:00 : 0.5mg 2-DPMP is consumed.
00:00 : 5g crushed Thai-leave is eaten.
00:30 : Uneasy feeling develops. Whole head feels like blowing up and explodes.
00:45 : Hands hurt, left arm hurts. SWIM gets scared.
01:00 : Right arm hurts. SWIM is over-anxious.
01:10 : SWIM gets a panick attack and is ready to die. Face in the mirror looks pale like that of a pantomime. Intense Hypertension, Tachyardia, Diaphoresis. SWIM pays very much attention to his breath.
01:13 : Back to normal, SWIM is happy, that he survived.
01:20 : Nice euphoria now ... stimulating effects of the kratom fade away later it is sedating and really nice (together with the 2-DPMP).

SWIM has to add that he is obviously very sensible to 2-DPMP and did not consume Kratom for 4 weeks before, so no tolerance was existent. Also set and setting were very sub-optimal...he supposes (hopes) that mainly psychological effects have lead to the panic-attack.

Thanks for that, Bongo. SWIM plans to test and hopefully corroborate that experience. However, a little off topic, SWIM has noticed that SWIM's BP has gone up. SWIM lives and works amidst lots of stress and keeps really screwed up hours, and so SWIM is not sure that kratom is a contributor. SWIM mentions this here since it could be an issue for some. SWIM has also been considering starting a hypertension thread to see what other SWIMs have had problems with ...
SWIM had two negative psychedelic experiences that SWIM attributes to having taken kratom earlier in the day. One was with 20 mg 4ACODIPT and the other with 2CB-FLY. It did not immediately occur that this was what did it, but both products had been fine in the past, so SWIM was sure it was some other factor. In both cases, really sick feeling with tremors and nausea / chills. The 4ACO-DIPT tremors were really intense for a few hours and very unpleasant - almost painful. SWIM thinks that the tryptamine skeleton interferes with other tryps (and FLYs ..). SWIM has not had a problem with PEAs, but has stayed away from psychs lately due to lack of time and a poor mindset for tripping.
Has any other SWIMs noticed this kind of problem with psychedelics - not at the end of the trip, but taking kratom prior to the hallucinogenic, or is SWIM just SOL ?

SWIdr enjoys combing a variety of downers with his kratom.* He has tried the following combos with premium grade kratom powder, which resulted in positive effects (NOTE: SWIdr has a high tolerance to kratom and other mentioned drugs, so dosage may need to be adjusted).

1. 5-20 mgs Diazepam with 10-15 grams of kratom
2. 4-8 mgs Eszopiclone (Lunesta) with 6-10 grams of kratom
3. 350-700 mgs Carisoprodol (Soma) with 5-10 grams of kratom
4. 12.5-37.5 mgs Promethazine with 8-15 grams of kratom
5. 15-45 mgs Phenobarbital with 8-10 grams of kratom

*Be EXETREMLY careful when combing two or more CNS depressants, even if kratom is a partial stimulant!!

Would you be able to elaborate on the specific effects of these combinations? Don't need extreme detail, just wondering about the differences between these combos and what swiDrMuffy found positive about the effects of each.

SWIM has been combining normal doses of kratom (e.g. 10 grams) with SMALL doses of propylhexedrine... very euphoric.

SWIM has consistently found kratom + stimulants to be much more euphoric than kratom alone, but there's a risk of panic attacks if the stimulant dose is even slightly above some particular threshold. If SWIY proceeds very cautiously, SWIM can recommend the combination for some very intense euphoria. So far he's just tried MDPV and propylhexedrine, but will probably be trying other kratom/stim combos in the near future.

The first time swim time propylhexadrine he got in the mood for some kratom. He took about 7 grams or so and had the time of his life all night.

swI'v noticed a link to kratom use, alcohol, and bad hang-overs.

5 grams of powdered kratom, on top of about 60 ounces of beer an hour or so earlier made SWIM vomit quite profusely.

While attempting to use 4 grams of kratom after .5 grams of crack to help with the crash, SWIM barely noticed the kratom at all. SWIM did not find it useful for taking the edge off.

Swim has a few to add...

-Kratom Premium leaf tea 8 gr. Added 25 mg Cocaine insufflated every 30 min to the equation and had an amazing night. Repeated many times since.
-With Nitrous taken in the same manner, 2 whippets / 30 min was also very nice.
-Then swim had to push that envelope further and hit a line/nitrous combo on kratom which is undescribable.
-Kratom with Marijuana synergizes amazingly for swim too.
