Stupidest things swiy has done, and didn't even get high.

Piggybacking off an earlier topic. I thought i'd change it around a little and ask what is the stupidest thing swiy has done it term of acquiring drugs, ingesting drugs, etc..? but didn't even get high from!

I'll start.... This is a 100% true story btw...................

A good friend of mine at the time who unfortunately is now very close to becoming the end product of a 20 year Opiate addiction, once broke into the car of a ladies trunk where he knew she kept her purse during specific times of the day. He rifled through the contents and took about 80$ in cash, and sold all the other various credit cards / pieces of Identification to a well known individual who did very well for himself stealing identities and selling them. Btw that individual is currently serving 8-12 yrs with possibility of parole in 6... Anyways said friend of mine (probably due to withdrawal symptoms steadily building and fixing being the only thing on his mind) failed to inspect the make up bag ("whats gonna be in there, tampons? lipstick? no thanks he thought"). The next day he recieved a phone call from a very happy individual who could not believe the surprise he got when checking the bag. My friend actually contacted me right after and I spent the better part of 4 hours on the line with him talking him out of his suicidal mindset.. (btw if I told you this guys run of bad luck you wouldn't believe me.. then this on top of it.. i'd be wanting to off myself too.) So what was in the bag you ask? well what it was, has to be the definition of irony. 600 Oxies in 8 seperate prescription bottles...a heroine/methadone/pain pill addict robbing someone who was carrying thousands of dollars worth of doctor shopped pain pills, then pretty much giving them away

That has to be one of the worst cases of bad luck, I know if it was swim, swim would have of contemplated suicide.

we were in 8th grade and in desperate need of weed. we decided to smoke some random leaves we found on the ground to see if they would do anything. we found a big shiny leaf and rolled it up and smoked it, and i got really sick. if it was poison oak, i would have died. yup, i'm an idiot.

i also smoked a giant pretzel stick when i had nothing to smoke.

SWIM smoked catnip and didn't even get high. Perhaps its a bit mood altering for people who are more sensitive than me.
SWIM ate Nutmeg and dindn't even get high.
SWIM smoked black-tea for fun as he was a kid till he and his friend had headache.
SWIM heard of people who smoke these sripes in bananas and don't even get high.

SWIM smoked some herbal relaxing tea when he was about 12-13 and did actually get a mild headbuzz. probably just from lack of oxygen though .
SWIM also ate nutmeg and it just made him feel like he had the flu.
SWIM took 4 naproxen tablets when in desperate need for a buzz and ended up with nasty diarrhia and nothing else.

SWIM once smoked rolled sassafras leaves when he was young at a Hitler Y- I mean, Boy Scout summer camp, during some 'free time' with a couple other SWIMers. It actually tasted quite nice, better than cigarettes in fact, and despite containing safrole, it was actually less carcinogenic.

I'm not even going to pin this one on labmonkey, this is my own stupidity. In middle school me and my buddy painstakingly ate a bunch of peanuts, saving the skins. We then rolled them and smoked. Yep. Thank you Jolly Roger.

SWIM and a friend of hers decided it would be cool to try and smoke oregano (they were 14 at the time, and didn't know much about drugs..) rolled up in a coffee filter. They ended up smoking it and somehow lighting a tablemat on fire right as friend's mother came home. Stupid and waste of a tasty herb

My alien friend was fishing when he was about 12, and his friend had swiped his dad's chewing tobacco container. Not liking the taste of it in their gums, they set it out to dry on a metal sheet for about 2 hours, then stuffed it in a hollow reed that had been plucked from near the lake. They said it wouldn't stay lit, which probably minimized the negative effects.

Needless to say, watching an alien adolescent puke because of stupidity is something that sticks with you. BTW, the only buzz they felt was probably the adrenaline produced from puking...... Silly alien.....

SWIM and two of his friends are broke as a joke on a wed. night in college. Some high school kid SWIM knows suggests "robotripping," and gives them 100 cold cough and congestion pills (Triple Cs) and says to take about 12 to 14 each.

SWIM and his friend take 26 each, and their big friend takes 32.

They go up to campus to get something, and on their way back the driver stops in a parking lot and pukes out the window. "I think I feel it," he says , and then instructs his big friend to drive home, a short 5 minute drive across town.

When they finally park outside the apartment the two smaller of the three open the door to the car and try to step out, key word try, as they collapse to the ground.
Their field of vision at this point can simply be described as if they were watching a game of pong on lvl 250 and the world is the ball.

SWIM tries to hold himself together, as he has to walk past his apartment security and front desk, through the lobby, and up the stairs to his room. SWIM doesn't know to this day how he didn't get the paramedics or police called on him as he crawled through the lobby on hands and knees to get up to his room, with his other two friends following closely behind (which he can only assume at least one of them was crawling as well.)

Up in the comforts of the apartment, two of the guys were having a conversation with each other. Only, a sober bystander (a roommate) noted the next day that there was literally a 1 minute delay between responses.

When SWIM was in 3rd grade, our "concerned principal" sent home letters telling how the "big,bad kids" were tripping off of dosed "lick 'n' stick" temporary tattoos.

I don't know if we actually thought we'd get high, but we must have tripled our consumption of Cracker Jax (for the tattoos inside). Yes, if you wanted to be a truly "badass" 3rd grader, you had to have 3-4 tats going at once.

My idiot, drunken brother went fishing in Maine in a rowboat. He managed to hook a sandshark. This so upset and scared him, he pulled out a 9mm pistol and tried to shoot the fish. Unknown if the sandshark survived the assault, but the rowboat just made it to shore before it sank - shot full of holes.
