Natural tolerance to certain stims?

Swim has tried various prescription and non prescription stimulants recreationally, and only a select few really produce much effect, like coke. Minimal effects from adderal and virtually nothing seems to come from using methylphenidate up to 50mg, which nearly all people get nice effects from, while swim falls asleep.. Swim just consumed 50 mg again as a final test with an empty stomach and no other substances, 30 min in and drowsiness is setting in bigtime.. wuh is wrong with swim?? And btw since almost no effects are gotten from these.. then should swim pretty much just throw out his benzedrex inhalers, since he remembers hearing they are pretty much the equiv of a 1/5 dose of adderal? and adderal having almost no effect on swim..

*Edit* ok 2 hours have passed since swim ingested the 50mg methylphenidate and thankfully the oncoming sleepiness changed to alertness. Still not even a hint of euphoria to speak of... oh well least swim didn't fall asleep this time. In all swim would equate it with poppin some caffeine pills.

SWIM knows a fellow that can take as much as 100mg of methylphenidate and more than 120mg of Adderall and still not feel anything, he can go right to sleep. He has no tolerance built up, he rarely uses either substance because he's always needed large doses to feel anything, and they give him barely any euphoria to speak of. If SWIM were to take an equivalent dosage, he would probably have a severe heart attack. I guess some people are naturally more tolerant to stimulants?

You might have problems with liver enzymes... swiy should try snorting them

Swim took his last 8 concertas and destroyed / parachuted the powder is 4 large gelcaps for a grand total 144 mg dose. Nearly 3 hours have passed and swim feels nothing but distortion in visuals.. a very tryptamine feel, but no other effects to speak of.. not even a hint of euphoria. And no stimulation to speak of at all.. swim think's hes done with this. However he can still goto the doc and try some other add meds.. Any suggestions?
