Health - Ergotism experiences (St. Anthonies Fire)

I know bad acid isn't LSD, but I thought this fits best in the LSD forum.

So, we all know how bad it is to consume ergot and other toxic lysergic acid derivatives. This can result in a horrible condition called ergotism.

For the sake of information, has anyone of your SWIMs experienced ergotism? If yes, please describe the experience and what exactly it was (ergot fungus, bad acid, etc.).

You can only experience ergotism when consuiming a large dose of poorly synthesised LSD?

HBWRs cause really painful vasoconstriction, esp the back of the legs and armpits. Hurts like hell. St. Anthony's fire was a problem because of a constant ingestion of ergot since all grain was contaminated.
