Using Psychedelics Wisely

I found it to be a very good read concerning the use of hallucinogens and just wanted to point it out as recommended reading. Since there is no general hallucinogen subsection on the forums, I figured it would be appropriate to post here.

It's basically a well put together article about how to get the most out of the hallucinogenic experience (growth-wise).

Excellent article.....it verbalised a few things which swim felt but could not put into word's and it also verbalised many things which swim believed already and also put forward idea's which swim had not though of. Its good to read such an article....it helps swim re-affirm his own belief's.

"penetrate deeper into the nature of Reality"

that's one aspect of psychedelics that's completely unavoidable yet very much misunderstood. If one gets to the point where such a deeper knowledge is available, before one is ready to go there [because of one's greed perhaps?], one might find oneself in a very confusing scenario, where reality is only uncertain and madness seems the only possible outcome; as one becomes aware that reality extends well beyond what's perceived by the 5 senses. Kind of like waking one from a dream into another dream... it can be a frightening experience.

However if one is in the correct mind frame, and has reached this point not in a sudden manner but in a progressive manner, the experience can be very a powerful teacher about the nature of the universe and the limits of the mind; whether it was reached through psychedelics or through lucid dreams.

I think that one's mind has tremendous potential, but one is usually unaware of it's potential or he is quick to forget it.
