Yeah, those could possibly be references to marijuana, although they seem to be more about plants in general. Nowhere on the site did I see anything about Jesus the Christ slicing open a cigarillo optimo, rolling, and proceeding to smoke a fat blunt full of ancient dank. here in toronto there is a christian church based around the belief that marijuana is the holy sacrament. also, many historians believe the annointing oil used on the christ was composed mainly of cannabis.

Bing Crosby is another famous person who smoked marijuana although maybe not many people are aware of this. Apparently he struggled with alcohol problems in his early days and lost his first wife to alcohol-related complications which made him turn to marijuana as his drug of choice. Many people put his 'relaxed' appearance in a lot of his movies down to his marijuana use. He and Louis Armstrong spoke out against marijuana prohibition in the 1960s. I wasn't aware of any of this until I read up about him recently. I was under the impression that he was an abusive husband and a bad father. It turns out that was a major misconception about old Bing.
