Simple extraction?

SWIM got some "chips" and powder of Peruvian Torch flesh, already dried but it tastes horrible >.< SWIM doesnt think he will be able to injest the amount required and is wondering if there's a simple method of extraction such as leaving it in some liquid for a few days and straining/drinking it. SWIM is no chemist nor does he have any of the equipment/chemicals to do a full on mesc extraction so any simpler method like making a tea or something is what he's seeking. Thanks
