Dried opium poppy Pod Questions

Swim recently mad a tea made of 3 pods. Swim was high all day but also got nausous from moving and threw up later on. Swim was wondering if there was a way to reduce the sickness. Also SWIM was wondering of a was to make a smokeable product form the dried pod tea. Is it as easy as evaporating the tea?

I have done a search and found good info but nothing clear enough to answer my specific questions.
