Smile How to get the most out of smoking salvia leaf

Swim has been smoking salvia for almost 2 months now, and has learned many things about this wonderful herb that brings insight to all who use it appropriately. The following series of steps is what swim uses to get the best effects out of salvia when smoked.

1. Find a quiet environment (very important)- If you're with your friends, make sure you all have a rule to be quiet for each others experiences, messing with each other messes up your high.

2. Find a darker environment- Swim has found for him the best environment so far when he was out with 2 of his friends at night in a barn that had a bondfire in the center of it. Swim found the bondfire very relaxing.

3. Make sure you're comfortable- Swim finds that when sitting reclined in a cushiony chair with a head rest he is most comfortable.

Now down to smoking, when smoking the just the leaf it may take a couple times for it to build up in your system to where you have a lower tolerance for it. You may think the leaf to be weak at first but i warn you, don't underestimate the effects it can give you.

1. Smoke from a waterpipe with a dimebowl- Swim has tried a Hookah with a quarter ounce bowl, and has found that just to be wasteful. The smaller the bowl, the hotter the salvia, and the more bang you get for your buck. A homemade vaporizer would be great for this as well but make sure you have a house sitter with you as the risk of fire is always there.

2. Use a torch lighter- Regular lighters work....eventually, swims advice, just go to the store and spend 7 bucks for a torch lighter, you'll be happy you did.

3. Take long slow hits, don't rush it- Rushing it burns your lungs and holds back your ability to absorb the salvinorin a as easily. If using a bong with a slider take a big hit until the smoke starts getting hot, pull away, take a little air in and hold it for 5-15 seconds. Take 2 big breaths and pull the slider away then clearing the now cooled smoke left in the bong. Salvia is all about patience and love, aggressive behavior gets you not near as far.

4. Make sure your mind is relaxed when the effects start to take over- Salvia will take you on your journey much faster with a calm relaxed mind. Swim has a friend who tries to use the stuff for astral projection. Swim feels his friend doesn't get as far in his journey because he's trying to focus his mind. Salvia putting the mind into another focus is what gives it it's power.

5. Enjoy

Swim hopes this has been a useful guide to you all.
