LSD and mescaline crosstolerance

My buddy did some quite weak acid on Saturday. If he hasn't smoked few bowls of weed, he would have hardly felt any effects except for feeling wired.

He's preparing some San Pedro tea right now (he's never done mescaline before) and plans to consume it tomorrow, on Thursday, 5 days after LSD experience.

I keep telling him to wait couple of more days, that it might be too soon due to mescaline's crosstolerance with LSD. He is saying that it shouldn't matter, b/c the acid was weak. Who is right?

You are. At least a week is required to overcome the cross-tolerance. Though there are many who would disagree - and go so far as to claim tolerance doesn't exist in the first place.

A week - at least - before further expeditions is efficacious.

SWIM would also recommend a week, maybe even two, to receive the very optimum effects. However SWIM has managed to successfully trip on LSD twice within the space of three days although a higher dosage was needed.
