White Mold on Mushroom Stems?
Basically, I just bought 400 grams of magic mushrooms from an online site which came in two containers. (I live in England where the law is vague enough for it to be legal) In one container, the shrooms apeared to have some light white mould growing on them. Ive taken shrooms before, and its definately not something Ive experienced before. I was just wondering if anyone knows how ill it will make me? Or if theres anyway of preparing them to stop them making me ill? Thanks

Magic mushrooms grow from mycelium, which is a clear white mold, from where the it shoots pinns and forms mushrooms. When magic mushrooms are stored in a way CO2 can build up, then the mushroom can start mycelium growth again. This is no problem, but it's not normal to happen. What can also happen is that the magic mushroom is infected with another fungus. Generally that will not be a clear white fungus, but a grey or green/blue/orange colored fungus. When a magic mushroom is infected or when it is slimey, you do not want to eat it. Infected or rotten magic mushrooms can make you very ill. In case of doubt, do not eat. You can also post a pic here and I'll tell you the score.
