Snorting Dexedrine

SWIM just acquired a Dexedrine script along with his Adderall XR and was wondering if he could snort it. SWIM already tried many times snorting crushed Adderall XR beads but found it to be much less effective than orally. Is it because of all the junk, binders and fillers of Adderall XR and the release system or the Amphetamines in Adderall are not much water soluble? Is D-Amphetamine Sulphate (Dexedrine) water-soluble?

is it caps or tabs, if tabs they work fine if dexedrine xr u might have same issues... in swims experiance the tabs work quite well.

Is it really worth snorting them versus taking orally? SWIM has heard Amphetamine Sulphate was not water-soluble enough to be absorbed at a reasonably percentage and less of it was absorbed snorting than taking orally. Is that true?

though 10mg pills are prefered (more dex per volume) they snort fine. Snort em or take em orally they are plenty soluble through the nose. hope that helps

Just out of curiosity, in what situation would SWIY need to be perscribed dexedrine in addition to adderall? Considering dexedrine is just dextroamphetamine, which makes up 1/4 of the amphetamine salts in adderall, wouldn't an increase in the dosage be a simpler solution. Are the effects of pure dextroamphetamine really that vastly different from the solution found in adderall?

SWIM lives in Canada and there's no IR Adderall there. Since Adderall XR bothers him because of bad release system wich needs too much scheduling. If SWIM takes his 30mg Adderall XR at 8 AM for college, well at around 3:30PM it's effects will wear off leading to the nasty "rebound effect" (or ""down). But SWIM has courses until 5:20PM and after supper has homeworks so he needed an IR formulation of Amphetamine(s) and since there's no Adderall IR in Canada his Doc gave him Dexedrine.

SWIM's Dexedrin 10mg are quite big and taste like they contain a lot of glucose. Maybe as much as fifty percent.

"Real" Dexedrine-brand D-Amphetamine Sulphate is only available
in 5mg tabs. SWIY's "Dexedrin" is probably generic D-Amphetamine Sulphate.

SWIM tried snorting a single 5mg tab the other day and was pretty amazed. Very good rush and much more potent (but shorter) than oral! Reminds SWIM the old days his friend had Methylphenidate! VERY MUCH more "snortable" than Adderall XR (snorted 30mgs of these and didn't feel much...)!

What about crushing up the 15mg time release ones, what would be a good dose?
