MDMA Synthesis Costs

SWIM was reading Cure20's guide to MDMA synthesis in the chemisty forum, however he cannot post there due to his user level. Cure20 outlined what seemed to be a fairly easy procedure, however SWIM has seen other on sites such as Erowid routes to synthesizing the chemical (however nothing as detailed as the guide that was mentioned earlier). SWIM isn't quite sure what the best route is, but the route in the guide seems to be a relatively simple homebrew method.

Anyway, SWIM's question is the cost and difficulty of obtaining this material and equipment. Also, if there are other simple ways SWIM would appreciate perhaps a link to some more indepth information or an approximate cost another setup would cost. Thanks for your help.
