SWIM recently authored a reply to Police Officers posted reply on the Law and Order forum that some could consider as an attack on that member personally.

This was not SWIMs intention.

SWIM was directing his attack on the percieved mentality of LE in general, not any specific member.

SWIM apologizes in advance to both Police Officer as well as any other member who may have taken SWIMs words as flaming or any other type of attack.

As SWIM stated in his post, he "does not know Police Officer personally and cannot attest to his character", therefore the principle of innocent until proven guilty should be applied equally and accross the board, even to groups or individuals with whom SWIM does not agree with.

SWIM would like to take the higher moral ground and say that he posted the above because he will apply this principle even when those who attack him didn't, but thats bullshit. You do the right thing because its the right thing to do, regardless of the cost.

Isn't that right, Police Officer?
