LoL Not really... the visual distortions, tracers, patterns, etc are much more surreal and trippy then those on the commercial.

roserjoe- If swiy are expecting a simple pretty light show from an LSD experience then swiy will be blown away and are probably not ready for a real LSD experience. LSD will draw swiy's mind and emotins to a whole new level... the visuals really are the smallest part of the lsd trip.

So many people romanticize the visual element of the LSD trip before they've even had a chance to take some and this sort of lackidazical mentality can often screw up one's preparation for the experience. LSD stimulates every sense. It cannot be compared to sitting down sober watching some form of visual entertainment. That element is there, but as Pinkavvy said, the visuals can be the smallest part of the trip.

The tracers SWIM had seen seemed to not last quite as long as those had. Although they were only one of the benefits of good acid. SWIM wouldn't compare a commercial to the aspects LSD would apply to every single one of SWIY's 6 senses. Remember, sight is only one.

Yes, SWIM knows about the "mind fuck" with acid, and knows that is the most amazing part of the trip. SWIM was just wondering if the visuals were similar to that.

it's something to bear in mind if you are ever guiding anyone on a first time (especially because they often find it when alone in the bathroom)

The first time SWIW saw this ad it was a poster at a bus stop.
He was tripping and stopped and stared at it for a good 20minutes in sheer confusion as to if it really looked that way and was mesmerised by it.
After a while he became distracted by street lights but the memory of that poster lives on.
