First-Time Dexedrine

Just today, SWIM remembered being prescribed some medication for ADD, but never took it and couldn't remember exactly what it was. SWIM checked the medicine cabinet, and found a small container with several heart-shaped, 5mg Dexedrine pills in it.

SWIM has heard some good things about recreational Dexedrine use, and would like to give it a try, but doesn't know what a good first-time dose would be. Despite reading a lot about them, SWIM is fairly inexperienced with 'uppers', having only used MDMA once.

Any suggestions as to how many of these 5mg Dexedrine pills SWIM should take? SWIM weighs approximately 120 pounds (54 kilograms). Also, would it be alright for SWIM to smoke a small amount of pot during the Dexedrine high?

Hello and welcome to the forum! Good of SWIY to do his research BEFORE taking the drug and not after. Also thank you for using "SWIM".

Start off low, with 10 mg dexedrine (2 pills). For SWIY's body weight he should start to feel the effects in about an hour. If no onset is felt, taking one more pill should be fine, but don't go much past that on SWIY's first time.

Smoking a bit of pot will not be harmful, and may take the edge off the high, although with a low dose feeling edgy will not be much of an issue. Some people get strange reactions to mixing pot with uppers, so maybe start with just a hit or two and gauge how SWIY feels.

Dexedrine can be fun and a great asset for productivity, but it does not much feel like MDMA, so do not expect that kind of feeling. Dexedrine had a euphoria all its own, but be prepared for a mild crash at the end (this can usually be slept off).

Dexedrine's effects will last about 6-8 hours from ingestion to a total come-down. Most of the strong effects will be gone around the 4-5 hour mark, with some residual stimulation or an inability to sleep for the last couple hours. At low doses this comedown is not harsh at all.

Mixing uppers and pot feels good for SWIJ, always in low doses. Besides weed helps a lot in the comedown.

SWIJ gets a weird sensation in the heart with mixing ritalin and weed, it is not necessarily unpleasant, but SWIJ does think that it is a bit stressing for the heart.

The tollerance is about two weeks after your last dose. I get almost no effect from 20mg because I'm prescribed it and use it as directed but 20mg daily for a month and 40mg won't do much for feeling euphoric unless I stop for two weeks. After two weeks 20mg at once will buzz me so to speak. but if I took 20mg the next day it would just focus me like it is suppose to.

I am ADHD so that might also come into play. A X girl of mine snuck two pills and was freaking out just so you know. She was 115 pounds and had never used an amphetamine before.

I'm not sure if I have something wrong with my liver enzymes or my Dopamine Receptors but a " normal " dose for me is around 90mg if I want to fly it can go all the way up to 30 pills in less than 20 hours. Any idea why?
