Courtney Love says being sober has ruined her sex life.

The 42-year-old singer, the widow of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain, admits she no longer has one-night stands since giving up drink and drugs. She said: "The only thing with sobriety is that promiscuity goes right out the window.
"It's easier to convince yourself that you are in love when you are high. I don't have a pool of men - it's more a Jacuzzi, or even a bucket."

Love - who has a 14-year-daughter, Frances Bean, from her relationship with Cobain - also confessed her love life is so depressing she is considering becoming a lesbian.

The singer, famed for her wild behaviour, is quoted as saying: "I don't have a boyfriend. This is the longest time I've gone without one. I love to be in love.
"I wish I could hang with dykes, but I've got c**k written all over my brow.
I've had so many obsessive relationships. Complete love crashes."

Nice contribution. I happen to be somewhat intrigued by the character that is Courtney Love (this doesn't mean that I necessarily find her likable just that I find her and her antics of interest). Swim certainly doesn't enjoy the sober life nearly as much as that of a drug-user. She also finds that she is often more frisky when she is using drugs. Being "in the mood" doesn't seem to happen nearly as frequently during her sober stints which she always finds annoying since she is happily married.

She's a rich girl and more inclined to flirt than have a "serious relationship".

Another middle aged woman losing her looks who doesn't have a clue about men. But who cares? Not me.

(I do hope that was originally said with at least a hint of irony in her voice!). Sort it out Courteney - the universe does not owe you a love-life, & your lack of one is not news-worthy. Welcome to the real world, where people have gaps between relationships where they take time to look at themselves & suss out what they want, where things have gone wrong, & how to avoid this in the future.

I wish her all the luck in the world, but on condition that she gives up completely on trying to be a star, or anything other than a dead rockstars girlfriend who went off the rails for a protracted period of time. She has a 14 year old daughter - time to spend a bit of time being a mother perhaps?

I imagine OJ probably gets quite a bit of action specifically because of the whole fiasco...doesn't surprise me a bit.
