Swim just wanted to share a little gem of a movie called the Salton Sea. Swims sure many people on here have seen it, but if you havent, watch it. Great flick about Meth with a nice little twisting ending to. A must see

as good as spun?... not really comparable.. spun is more a comedy drama while salton sea is more a thriller/drama/mystery both are good but id choose spun anyday .. only thing they have in common is the central charcters are speed freaks..

Both great movies! Didn't care for the fat cheese puff eating sloth in spun.

The plastic men more then made up for it.

There both good if swiy is a tweaker. salton was more dramatic wile spun was more a ....swim wouldent say comedy .....lets just say drug movie

Does the movie title Salton Sea have anything to do with the actual lake in the desert of So . California? I live some 30 miles from the north shore of the Salton Sea, it is in the middle of the desert some 60 miles from Mexicali Mexico. The ocean was once covering the area and it is still a huge lake with a higher percent of salt than the oceans

Yes, it does have to do with the lake. It's a good movie, I thought anyway. Don't expect it to be pro-meth though, it's not. Good flick though.

The salton sea area is a very odd area... very redneck.

anyways, the movie is great. SWIM agree's with whomever said Spun is more of a comedy, while the Salton Sea is definately more dramatic.
