2C-I starting dose?

SWIM is about to get there first taste of 2c-i, the only other drugs SWIM has done is MDMA, salvia, weed, opiates, benzos. SWIM's question is what would be a good starting dose for SWIM to try 2C-I. SWIM has had x pills that have made SWIM see persian type patterns after SWIM smoked weed. should SWIM start off with say a 15mg dose? or should he just go for a 18 to 20mg dose??

Clear SWIM's schedule and tell SWIM devote a full night, and part of the next day for SWIM. Judging from SWIM's list of already-done's, this will be a novel experience. SWIM should read as much as possible (here works - but read elsewhere) on the nature of a psychedelic experience. Though some consider 2-CI a party-type drug, make no mistake: 2-CI is a full-scale psychedelic like LSD25 & Mescaline (more like mescaline).

15mg would be a good place for SWIM to start.

SWIM's favorite is 2C-I and her cavy squeaks that at her size (5'4" and 130lbs - which would put her squarely in the capabara family) 12mg is an absolutely perfect dose. SWIM's cavy's mate is 5'7" and 165lbs and he prefers 12mg as well, as it prevents a bad tremor he develops at anything higher.

SWIY can always tweak the dose a little higher next time if it seems necessary. Go low, slowly zero in on SWIY's preferred place to be and there's no regrets. Go too high and regrets will be legion.

Thanks, SWIM has been doing alot of reading for months now and thinks SWIM is finally ready to see what the whole experiance will be like. just from reading on here, shroomery, and erowid SWIM has gotten a good idea of what to expect. wish SWIM luck...

Luck has nothing to do with it. Set and setting are key. 2C-I is mentally gentle at lower doses (though maybe a bit rough on the body, it's nothing you won't be able to handle), so set the day aside, grab a trusted friend, and enjoy.

Swim would think that it wouldn't be doable to concentrate on a TV-screen, since he couldn't even count fingers held up before him. There are much nicer things than tv. Like nature.

swim thinks that swim as a weed smoker should have a good time with 2c-i it helps with the over welming feel the the drug can give you in the end swim thinks that you should see how you like it frist try 10-12mgs frist see how your body reacts to the drug there is always next time and you dont want to over do it with this one it can be a long ride and remember that it gets more visual at the end swim him self likes to take 30mgs but he does not think that you should being swimmers frist time and all.

SWIM and 2 other friends injested roughly 15 to 17mg of 2c-i, SWIM smoked while dosing. i was a little disappointed because although we all got a good body buzz and for about 20-30 minutes SWIM could not think of SWIMS Friends name, which was funny, but SWIM and his friends did not see any visuals. SWIM thinks he will take 22mg next time and hope for full imersion in the visual sence. all in all SWIM thinks the drug has a damn nice after effect being that SWIM was starving after and woke up for class the next day feeling like a million bucks

For their first time, SWIM and a friend took 23mg of 2c-i and were not impressed.
The strange thing is, another friend of SWIM (who is bigger and has more weight) took 25mg and had a full blown trip with lots of visuals.
So SWIM thinks that someone using 2c-i for the first time should start with a low dose to determine his/her sensitivity...
