Amanita Pantherina Report

Well as the title says, SWIM ordered 1 ounce of Siberian Amanita Pantherina. According to what they have read, Pantherina contains high concentrations of ibotenic acid & muscimol. But what SWIM couldn't find what a direct comparison between A. Muscaria & A. Pantherina. Would anybody know how much more ibotenic acid & muscimol percentage wise is in A. Pantherina.

This will be SWIM's first time researching the "incense" qualities of Amanita. Luckily Swim ordered a scale not too long ago, so Swim can make the reports as detailed as possible.

One of the wonders of both A. Muscaria and A. Pantherina is it's like Forest Gump - "It's like a box of chocolate - you never know what you're gonna get."

Two identical Amanitas growing side-by-side can have vastly different amounts of ibotenic acid/muscimol. While the Panther Caps are often considerably more embellished with same than the Muscaria - there is no way to really know this side of chemical analysis. Being very careful is always mandated with these critters. With the Panthers - twice so.

If the mushrooms are dried, one should be dealing with muscimol and not ibotenic acid - mostly. This is the reason for drying them. Muscimol is more (not totally) gentle on the body, while ibotenic acid can cause convulsions. So always be sure they are dried before feeding said to a primate - unless the primate is a Tugrik Shaman from the Chukchi region of eastern Siberia.

Swim Hopes his silverback will be able to, His first time will defintaly be dosed at 5 grams perhaps less. These are dried btw.

Swim just cosumed 2 grams of a new supply of Amanita Pantherina about 20 minutes ago. The belly feels alil warm and swim notices a tad bit of relaxation and comfort. If the effects dont build within the hour swim will consume another 2 grams . Stay Tuned.

+35 Swim stood up and had a uneasy stomach, so they make him smoke 1/3gram of cannabis. Strange thing is that Swim feels alittle high, but not as much as usual.
+45 Swim is starting to bob a move to some drum and bass, He thinks Mistress Amanita is on her way.

On experience when have you noticed in your animals when the full effects come into play?Swim reads onset is around 30-120 minutes.

When SWIM eated Amanita, the full effect came up 150 minuts after ingestion. But when SWIM ingested it he was on full stomach.

Sorry about not following up last night, Swim drifted off. What Swim noticed what a comfy euphoric feeling, occasional visual distortions. Music was very enjoyable throughout the experience and his concentration seemed to allow him to focus deeply on things. Swim dosed at 10pm and fell asleep around 3am still with the effects going. It seemed to hit in small waves, you could feel the happy euphoric feeling build and hit and subside. It was defintaly interesting. Not as severe as he thought it would be but then again, a total of 3 grams was taken.

The muscimol is carried through the urine, which can then be consumed to further/increase the effects. I am not suggesting such...however for those who think plugging is disgusting and vile - here's something new to rail against! LOL!

The former. The active alkaloids in psilocybe mushrooms, psilocybin and psilocin, MDMA(ecstacy), LSD, they are all broken down by the liver, only tiny bit, if none at all, is secreted unmetabolised in the urine. Muscimol, as well as barbiturates and only a handful of other uncommon drugs are excreted unmetabolised, for the most part. Myth busted!

Yes, barbiturates have a very, very long half life(the time it takes before half of the dosage is broken down), up to a week or so with the long acting ones. Some of it will stay in the body(tissue fats etc.), but the majority will be excreted unchanged in the urine. Barbiturate addicts are extremely rare nowadays, because barbiturates have been almost completely been replaced by benzodiazepines, so people who are prescribed them are rare. And barbiturate addicts tend to have a nasty tendence of dying early due to overdose or withdrawl.

phew, how many did sloth take? swims noticed theres some whining going on bout ama no-fx on this forum, but swiy seems to have been handed the opposite. swiy has respect for ama or just total yuck?
