10/325 oxycodone

Swim would like to know if crsuhing the oxycodone 10/325 would be good to do . SWIM was takking 5mg oxycodone with no aceptamine in it but SWIM doc up the dose to 10/325 with asprin in it .

it will increase the surface area slightly thus speeding absorption a little bit, but the effect may not even be noticable. crushing is mostly only crucial with time release pills.

SWIM makes it a practice to split his pills in half when he ingests them. Does it make anything better/faster/different? Who can say? But he keeps doing it and probably will. It just seems logical - the more surface area that is exposed to one's stomach enzymes, the quicker the absorption.

Exactly, swiWeekender! The surface area would increase and thus facilitate faster and more effective absorption, but the effect could be a placebo just as well. But if it seems to work for SWIY, why not go for it? SWIM does the same thing with his, it would take a true scientific study to reveal if breaking the pills in half truly helps to a noticable degree, but SWIM believes that it works, and so he continues to do so.

A 10/325 is NOT oxycodone. It is Hydrocodone and Acetimenophen. Oxycodone is about 1.5 times stronger.

Although they do indeed make hydrocodone in a 10/325 blend (Watson among others), at least one manufacturer, Endo Labs, makes a 10/325 Oxycodone/APAP blend.

Don't want to get into a pissing match (or a pill identification discussion) but, as they say, facts is facts.
