Re: Share Music Thoughts

SWIM would suggest some psychedelic rock, like the Doors, Pink Floyd, led zeppelin.

On SWIM's first "ex"-perience, his friend turned on one particular song that really inhanced the entire collective high of their little group. That song was Shine On you Crazy Diamonds(full version), by Pink Floyd. It was an amazing song.

Re: Share Music Thoughts

Alright, need some input on this one. SwiM wants to prepare a set for the next time he goes rolling so that he doesnt have to worry about the music for the night. But I cant decide how to structure it. Normally, SwiM would start a set slowly, maybe a little Massive Attack or Thievery Corporation and slowly build it up to trance/house or whatever the genre for the night is. But with MDMA, you dont build up slowly. You are sober and then Bang! So, should I forget structure and just slam into peak time anthems for the night? Should I start with the anthems then bring it down a little (Massive Attack and Thievery) and then back up? I kind of have 3 genres I want to include: Chillout (as above), deep trance (Holden and Thompson) and normal trance (Nyana, Travelling Disc 2 by Paul Oakenfold).

Re: Share XTC Music Thoughts

Yeah, but SwiM always intents to listen to a load of songs while hes rolling. Songs he has avoided for months so as not to get tired of them. Then SwiM gets distracted or forgets where they are on his iPod. Or, looking back, the iPod stops playing so SwiMs friends try to work out how to work the decks and break both needles. How both? They found a way.

Re: Share XTC Music Thoughts

Swim listens to Thizz music when if swim could describe the music it's HipHop techno and Hendrix mixed in a pot

Thizz- Street slang for being up on Ecstasy, popularized by Andre "Mac Dre" Hicks. Thizz is also the name of Mac Dre's record label

Thizz Face
Thizz Face is a facial expression one makes when on exctasy or thizz, coined by mac dre in his song "Thizzle Dance." It is said to be "a look on your face like you smell some piss." Many participate in this action even if they are not "thizzin'", it is often related with the action of throwing up a "T" which indicates it is thizz time, it has become a cultural trend in the bay area and is spreading to Los Angeles and other areas.

Thizzle Dance: a popular dance which holds no specific standard
