A good friend of mine, SWIM, went to a party on sunday evening. First pill was taken at midnight, second in the afterparties that lasted till morning.
He´s not a experienced user but has tried xtc before.
Its thursday now and SWIM`s heartbeat still much higher than normally. mornings and days are okay, evenings are worse; frustration, no sleep until 6am, chills / vibes / dizzy feeling.
Question: if xtc taken, for up to how long do side effects usually last?

Hmmm, from SWIM's experience and other's reports, that doesn't sound right at all. Such effects should not be happening so long after intake. Maybe a visit to a doctor is called for. Maybe someone else here can advise, but until SWIY feels better/gets a doc's opinion, eat healthy, maybe take some multi-vitamins and 5-HTP, do something to relax, maybe if yoga or walking interest you... Best of luck, hope SWIY feels better. SWIY should also consider finding a new supplier should SWIY indulge again, and another good investment would probably be a testing kit. A difference in mood and perhaps insomnia for days after doesn't sound all that strange, it's the heart thing that sounds worrisome.

Sounds like cause for concern. A visit to the doctor is recommended. Try not to over-exert SWIY physically either and try some deep breathing techniques in order to return his normal heart rate.

If you got the pill at the party there is good chance that it had other stuff in it like caffeine or methcathinone. If you got it from a reputable source (e.g. some one you've gotten it from before and who has an idea of the content) then its possible that some one slipped you something at the party - make your own drinks, bring you own cigarettes! I got slipped something once, never make that mistake again.

SWIM has seen several instances of people taking over a gram of MDMA in a single night and recovering in 48 hrs.

Are you taking anti-depressants? If so they could have adverse affects on drug/brain chemistry.

Definitely check it out with a Doc.

SWIM got better after 1 week, the source was quite reliable, but I think 2 pills for a newstarter + afterparties that lasted until 12am were too much for the body to endure. Think SWIM got some nasty flu, that created horrible afters. SWIM is feeling now, thanks for everyones posts
