Mushrooms Lowering Cannabis Tolerance?

Every time SWIM and his friends have shrooms the next day when they smoke a weed joint the weed seems to hit them harder. This has happened to SWIM and both his friends, so SWIM was wondering:

Has this happened to any one?
Why does this happen?

Just curious really.
