Cannabis and dreaming?

Last year swim smoked 3-7 times a week (most often at night) for about a semester. Now, swim hasn't smoked in months (different countries, different availabilities). Last semester/year swim hardly dreamt AT ALL but now she has started dreaming again, almost every night (yay! Swim loves dreaming!). Is there any connection? Any similar experiences?
