Oral use - Can Ketamine be taken orally??

I want it to use K in the club scene but i am worried that snorting it may just put me anesthesic sins it´s hard to control dosage...

I would like to know if i could take orally to get some of the effects. and if so, what should be the dosage??

These answers have been answered previously, UTFSE.

Ketamine can be taken orally however the doses are very differant, for a khole experience 500mg must be taken. That noted the ketamine also gets converted into Norketamine in the stomach which gives quite a differant experience with notable increased Nausea.

Erowid has a nice dosage guide for Ketamine both insufflated and oral.

SWIF's best advice is that you snort but only do tiny bumps from the corner of a credit card.

SWIM don´t want to reach the k-hole, swim wants to use in the chillout of a big rave that is coming up soon....SWIM wants to take between MDMA doses ( between the comedown and the next dosage) in the chillout where hi just lays down and relax for 2 hours maybe......SWIM Was thinking of doing 250mg orally with his girl......

250mg a good dosage to get some good psichadelic feelings on oral K??

One thing SWIM wants to mention about taking ketamine orally is, that it numb your body from the stomach outwards.
Many people find this a very uncomfortable feeling, and makes them nauseous or even throw up.
SWIM would rather snort it, as it isn't too hard too eyeball the dose, or otherwise if SWIY is too far out of it, he could let is dose by a friend of SWIY.
If it would give psychedelic feelings depends on the person.Some people have very weird experiences even with small doses, though other need amounts close to that for a k-hole(like SWIM) to have altered visions.
SWIM advices SWIY to have a look at the dosage page of ketamine at Erowid.

For example, swip had a very good khole experience not more than a week ago on a oral dose of 250mg of some very fine lab grade ketamine crystals. I think that if swip had taken 500mg of that k he may have had a bad experience or worse.

That might work for you, but would you likely end up an uncomfortable confused mess! As far as SWIM is concerned MDMA and ketamine are a poor mixture, like dissonant voices, unless the you only take small 'bumps' of K. Also, as has been said many times before, ketamine is far more 'psychedelic' when snorted or inljected as the stomach turns it to norketamine (as cocaine is turne into norcocaine), which is usually thought to be less desirable.

Various dosages must be used for everyone but this is obvious, people can die from being so sensative to MDMA for example that 20mg kills them others can barely get an effects for 150mg.

In whatever situation one must assume that the ketamine or whatever drug is in question is of reasonable quality which is where SWIF and i assume Erowid builds their guides from. If SWIP found some super strong ketamine or if someone else found some weak ketamine it can be assumed that the dosage will change. But if everyone took this into accout everytime they ever wrote a dosage statement that would mean virtually every dosage statement would be incorrect or require a massive explanation on under what specific circumstances it applies.

The 500mg dosage was not a recommendation for anyone it was merely a factual statement based on SWIF's experience and also erowids dosage guide. SWIF has never achieved a khole orally and has taken 600+ mg. Erowid suggests dosage above 500mg for kholing on oral ketamine.

SWIF advised trying small bumps on a credit card first did he not...
