San Pedro into juicer?

One recipe I've read involves freezing to loosen up cell walls, then grinding and squeezing.

Another I've read says to grind it up, squeeze out the liquid, then add water to the dry squeezings again and boiling for two hours to get anything else out of the mush.

SWIM is not really that concerned about waste as long as he gets a good trip. So, why not just throw the cactus into a juicer? I guess you could dry it if you wanted to.

Another question: why don't people add sugar to this bitter stuff? It would take a lot of suger, but I would think it would have to help at least a little.

So, here's the plan...
Juice it, add suger, mix, hold nose and try to drink.

Opinions? Suggestions?
